Not low calories, beware!
I bought this to use as I have been maintaining my weight as a weekly slimming club for ages. I eat practically the same food every week and every week I get weighed I stay the same weight. This week the only thing I substituted was this sugar and I put on 4lb!!! Do not buy as a low calories substitute to sugar. It is not!! I will go back to using sukrin, yes more expensive but at least I know it is what is advertised!!

Great healthy alternative
This is a plant based all natural icing sugar, it’s vegan and low calorieThis is the perfect solution for diabetics and vegans, any anyone who’s watching their sugar/calorie intakeIt comes in a resealable pouch. It looks and feels exactly like your normal icing sugar.I used this to dust on my pastries and to make butter icingThe dusting work well and just gave it the sweet edge. The butter icing although was lovely did have a ‘fizzy’ taste/texture to it. It really did melt in the mouth. That’s the only difference between this and really icing sugar.I think overall this is an fantastic solution to the ever growing sugar problem!!It’s priced very high and while I understand the work and health benefits that’s gone into this, it makes it harder to choose this over regular icing sugar

Great alternative
Absolutely love this!!! Great as a sugar alternative for baking with my little one. I absolutely love baking, which is something I want to share with my little one, but realising how much sugar is in them has made me hesitate. Lots of sugar alternatives aren't even that healthy so as a mum I felt kind of stuck. This is really great. Obviously you can taste a slight different, but it doesn't taste bad at all. I really like the taste of this and it is so easy to make. Perfect for adding sweetness to my banana bread cupcakes. I only use bananas in the cakes for sweetness and then I added icing from this brand to add on top and it was just perfect. Now I can bake more guilt free with my baby boy and teach him healthier ways to treats.

Icing but not so bad for you
Most people in the UK eat too much sugar as it is hidden in many foods you wouldn't even think would have sugar in them. The icing on cupcakes adds that extra layer of sugar and calories to something already very full of sugar. This icing sugar alternative tastes pretty much the same as a traditional cane or beet icing sugar but is lower in calories. It proudly states it is all-natural and comes from plants but so does cane and beet sugar so the fact it is lower in calories is the main bonus. It is quite a lot more expensive so I am not sure I will totally replace my sugar or icing sugar with this - my cutting back on sugar and calories will be avoidance rather than using an alternative.

Good sugar alternative. Weighs a similar amount, too.
This large resealable bag has all the green credentials you could want, so ticks all the ethical boxes. It's a fine powder, like icing sugar, and has a similar weight too. It's not like Canderel where it weighs nothing, is fluffy and can't be used in baking. This can be used just as you would icing sugar. My son is Type 1 diabetic and a keen cook, so is loving this. Where cakes need a sweet icing topping, it excels. You could use it for any baking use, except where you want to caramelise the sugar, this just burns. Slightly too expensive to use as a drink sweetener.

Excellent for baking.
I have this BONRAW natural sweetener silver birch xylitol (sugar free) icing sugar in 500g bag.It looks and tastes very similar to the 'normal' icing sugar, but is healthier and safer for diabetics.I'm using it in the same proportions as the regular icing sugar.I've baked apple roses from puff pastry with xylitol, sprinkled with this icing on top and no one noticed the difference. For a long time I'm using for baking xylitol or erythritol, but for the first time I have xylitol icing sugar.Lovely quality, excellent icing sugar replacement, just more pricey than sugar, but definitely worth to spend a bit more to stay healthier.
