If it bleeds, shinku can kill it.
Well thought out horror/action comic set in japan, where shinku(the last of her clan) with help from her loyal aid oshima and gaijin davis take on osano the leader of a powerful vampire clan. shinku is strong, fearless and takes nonsense from no vampire. Shes a good lead female that i hope to see more of, So buy the comic and show some support.

Wow…just…WOW!!!
Highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of Buffy, Angel, Blade or anything that relates to vampires! Shinku is a female vampire hunter who is really a badass at what she does and how she does it. Vampires situated in Japan is a fresh take from compared them to be in America or Europe. I have nothing bad to say about this expect that i want more!!!

Meh
Interesting read, wasn't particularly drawn by the style and story. It feels too much like reading a colorful Blade.

The last of a samurai clan taking on ancient vampires? What's not to like?
Taking vampires out of middle Europe or middle American might seem like an odd thing to do, but it works very well in this book. Set in modern Japan, Shinku takes the idea of the last samurai of her clan still fighting a war against the vampires that eliminated all samurai from Japan. It's graphic in it's violence, and is rated for adults, and worth every penny I paid for it. The premise works, it's set for a long run and I can't wait to see the twists and turns that are signature from Ron Marz.
