Definitely worth the money, super easy to install
Amazing value this SSD my MacBook Air A1465 (Early 2014) changed the 128Gb original to this 256Gb SSD installed Big Sur(make sure to have latest update on the original SSD, as per instructions provided). The instructions are super easy to follow time to swap the SSD under 5min(make sure to disconnect battery while doing it).Write Speed increased 4fold while Read 2fold. Don’t expect to see a huge difference in CPU but it will definitely give a new life to an otherwise old MacBook Air.I chose this model for the simple reason that some of the other SSD(fledgling) although great as well it was an overkill and I would pay money for something I would not see more difference.Rmbr it will NOT make your computer go 2x the speed!!! It will however improve boot up times and loading times for different apps.

Great size, proprietary Mac pins
Works as intended, installed it myself into my late-2013 Macbook pro without the need for any additional adapters. This is a great capacity for the price. I like to mix music and have a little awkwardly large amount of music on my system. Now I can have both my music and any games without ever worrying about space in the future.I was able to restore my old drive onto this one from a Time Machine backup after installing the OS onto this first. Restore without installed the OS first would fail. Not a big deal.

Installed in five minutes and doubled my SSD capacity
I managed okay for years with the 128GB storage in my mid-2013 MacBook Air, but lacked the space needed to upgrade my OS to Big Sur. If you can operate a screwdriver, you can install this drive in minutes with the clear instructions at iFixit (they rate the difficulty as "moderate," but I'm no genius and I found it ridiculously easy). You will need two screwdrivers: a P5 Pentalobe and T5 Torx, not included. Fortunately, I have a bunch of these from other upgrades during my time with Macs.Installation took about five minutes, plus the time required for OS installation and data transfer. I have been using it without issues for a couple of weeks. I now have twice the storage capacity and (though I might be imagining things) my MacBook feels noticeably zippier. This is a great upgrade for a modest price.

Great investment/easy replacement
I ordered the 1TB for my mid-2013 MacBook Air. It took me all of about 15 minutes to replace. Unscrewing the bottom lid took longer. I had made a backup the morning before I received it and it took about 4 hours to reformat it and get back on my laptop. Side-note, if and when you replace it, you should disconnect the battery. Be careful doing this since not properly reattaching it will make your laptop not “see” it. For my computer it makes a soft snap when properly attaching. Great investment, it’s a great bump up from the 128GB it came with and I expect to get at least another 5-6 years out of my machine.I’ve replaced the battery, Bluetooth / Wifi card and hard drive since my local “official” Apple tech said my machine was “obsolete“. Since I am way out of the repair plan time range, I had no choice.
