Missing top carrying handle

It isn’t the best travel crate I’ve purchased, but the airline accepted it. The base is the same as the lid so it wasn’t a very comfortable surface for the pup during travel and it doesn’t come with a travel bowl like other brands I’ve used.

I bought three of these to bring my cats on a plane ride with me. They met the airline’s standards and were easy to assemble. However, one of my cats ended up with a bloody nose and scrapes all over his nose and mouth from rubbing the holes on the wall of the kennel. He was traumatized by this and would not accept being pet near his face for a few days after. My other two cats were fine because they were shy while traveling and did not approach the walls. I think the plastic holes that are punched into the sides are not properly filed down so the raw edges are very dangerous for curious cats. Please use caution when buying this product and be prepared to sand down each hole to protect your fur babies.

This plastic feels cheap. The plastic on the top where the handle goes thru feels thinner that the rest. My cat is 12 pounds and when I pick him up in it, I feel like the handle or plastic where the handle is will break. It was easy to put together and because I bought a used one for a cheaper price, I'm going to just keep it for one of my lighter cats or for rescuing kittens. But if your pet weighs more than 8-10 pounds max, I do recommend recommend this carrier.

Used these to transport under the plane two larger cats. Weights are 12 and 20 lbs. They fit in them no problem. Very solid construction and nice gates for entry/exit. Came with airline approved bolts and a bunch of holes to connect them, plus extras at the corners to put zip ties in place. Was easy to zip tie the gate as well. Definitely recommend if you are shipping a pet.
