The death of a master
First of all this a very beautiful, well-produced and aesthetically pleasing book. With lots of high class photos both of the beautiful Fijian nature and ofc of Adi Da.The book is centered around Adi Da's passing in 2008 trying to make a spiritual significance out of his rather sudden death of an heart attack. And describing the elaborate rituals following his death. Many of his followers from around the World stating their feelings and reactions. As always kept in the overwhelmingly reverend style that characterizes his devotees. There is also a good overview over his life and some interesting quotes from his many books. Whatever one thinks about this highly unorthodox and controversial master - and wether one believes he truly was the long awaited avatar and God-man - he certainly had an unusual talent for stating what seems like the highest truth.Although mainly aimed at followers of 'the way of Adidam' I feel this should be of interest to anyone interested in spirituaility and contemporary masters. Just as it serves as the perfect introduction to the strange world of Adi Da Samraj aka Da Free John aka Franklin Jones.
