"INFORMATIVE, SIMPLE HOMEMADE RECIPES, EXTREMELY USEFUL!"
Dana Selon delivers a very useful guide on natural herbal remedies for treating common ailments. Each recipe provided for Herbal Medicine includes Things Needed, and an easy-to-read Procedure. Many of the Ingredients are common, and other ingredients are easy to find. The author begins with Anti Allergic Nettle Tea, used to comfort and soothe allergy conditions. Soothing Anise Tea is used for congestion, cold, and flu. There is a Recipe to relieve Joint Pain, A Recipe for Cold And Cough Solution, Homemade Saline Solution to treat allergies and nasal dryness. In addition, there is a Recipe for Indigestion, a Herbal Sanitizer for hands, and a Lemonade to treat congestion. There is a Clove recipe for sore throats, cold, and flu. There is also a Recipe for homemade Ginger Ale for digestion. A herbal treatment for Bloating, Nausea, Ear Aches, and Eye Infection. There is a Recipe for herbal Analygesic Compress to treat arthritis and joint pain. There is a Recipe for Cinnamon Gargle to treat sore throat, or infection in the mouth, or gums, which I used because my gums have been sore from recent dental work and this recipe was gentle and soothing. I will be trying several recipes, and find that the information given for several minor ailments is very useful, and will save money, and time as well. After devoting 30 years to a Nursing career with years of experience as a Medication Nurse, witnessing that there is a pill for just about everything these days, if I can create homemade herbal recipes for minor ailments, then I'd rather do it the natural way. These Recipes are Not time-consuming, and in this weak economy, the Ingredients are budget-friendly. In the long-run, we can save a great deal of money and time by using herbal recipes, not to mention that the low cost of this book which contains valuable information is an additional Bonus. Highly recommended.

like I, prefer all natural
I'm allergic to nearly every antibiotic out there, as prescribed by doctors at least, so this is a handy tool for me! I also prefer being as natural as possible and avoid medications whenever possible. If you, like I, prefer all natural, this is a good, interesting read. Just remember to be very aware of your body as you attempt these natural remedies. If you are not getting better from minor illnesses with these, seek medical attention! Or, if you react negatively in any way, seek medical attention!

Cures and preventatives
Well-organized information. What ingredients for these aren't in your kitchen can, for the most part, be picked up at any grocery store or spice shop. The few items that most grocery stores don't carry can be found in health food stores. I am looking forward to making and using these chemical-free antibiotics to make and keep me and my family healthier.

Great book with recipes that help with many things. Saves a trip to the doctor and contains no chemicals from over the counter meds and often has better results.

Haven't read it yet...
...but antibiotics is misspelled on the cover page. I am probably going to read through this book, but it is a pretty poor first impression.
