The Sheriff 4: A post-apocalyptic sci-fi western (Sheriff Duke)

Good characters. The entire Forgotten series is excellent. Looking forward to the next installment of the Sheriff or even some more Forsight or Forgotten.

The character of Hayden Duke is that of old fashioned hero, family man, courageous go-getter and saviour. You can trust him completely; he always throws himself in the way of harm and never backs down from a fight. Nothing is better than finding books you've been waiting for. This one is the usual mix of heroism and action. Brilliant.Edit: Oh, come on, M R Forbes! I've been waiting for what feels like forever for number 5 in this latest set of escapades. It's torture, I tell you! Please at least give us a hint?....this year, next year, 2030? Please stop with the torture, now!!!!!

Hayden Duke is by far one of my favourite characters. I don't know how long this series of Sheriff books will go on for; but I hope there's a few more to come!Another great piece of work from Forbes. I'd love to see these books turned into a series for T.V.

I have found it interesting following sheriff duke, a nice change from some of the other stories. looking forward to following more of m.r. Forbes work

Another stirring tale of the post apocalypse world. The Sheriff taking on near impossible odds and winning by the skin of his teeth. Assisted by the near incredible stupidity of the baddies and the initially grudging, latterly wholehearted, support of various citizens. Yes a fairly gripping read.
