Magnetically stable viewing angles
I am a student. My ipad is a digital notebook that i carry to and from uni.The case has an amazingly comfortable pen holder. The pen never fell in my bag, and it is very easy to take it out and put it back in the slot due to the opening in the middle. Of course the pen is also charged while attached. Some cases have a layer of rubber between the pen and the ipad which hampers charge compatibility, but this case does not. The pen sits directly on top of the ipad, so it always charges while in the slot.I like that the case has magnetically and structurally stable viewing angles, i use the lowest angle for taking notes, and other angles for media viewing. I like that at all viewing angles the pen is always on top, with the charging port on the right. (Something i didn't like about folio cases)I also feel like the vase offers good protection, with all the soft rubbery material around the edges, but still keeps the charging port and speakers well clear. And the buttons feel really clicky and satisfying, I'd even say they feel better with the case than without it lol.Overall really good case that fits my needs exactly, looks stylish and doesnt break the bank.

Slim, sturdy , and high quality!!
Great quality case- love the pencil holder! I was surprised how high quality it felt when opening- and it had a very nice texture that provides excellent grip. It’s not really black, more of a dark slate. The magnets are strong, and the positions are all very much locked in when you set it up. Buttons are perfect , no difficulty in operating. I was stuck between the Zugo and this one , and I’m glad I got this- first, it costs less, second, from the reviews I’ve seen, they’re the same material, and third, this just feels minimalist in a very classy way that I find more aesthetic then the rugged panels of the Zugo.

TineeOwl vs Zugu
This review is mostly for those who want to compare this case and the Zugu Alpha case that works similarly.I've used the Zugu case for a little more than a year and a half, but I really hated how the microfiber touched the surface I was using it on. Saw this case when I was searching for alternatives and figured I'd try it out.- The Zugu case weighs less at 1 lbs and 2.2oz. The TineeOwl case weighs 1 lbs and 2.8oz. I do feel that the TineeOwl case is a bit heavier, but the difference is negligible.- The pictures show the angle comparisons between the two cases. The Zugu case has a lower viewing angle option, while the TineeOwl case can be displayed at a 90 degree angle with no issues. The TineeOwl case can also lay mostly flat even outside the "reading" mode pictured in the item listing above.- The magnets on both cases are strong and none will collapse on you even with the most arm pressure. I personally feel that the TineeOwl magnets are much sturdier, especially since the angle is held up by the iPad rather than a flap.- The Zugu case (for the 12.9 iPad) will not stick magnetically to a surface such as a fridge when the flap is folded behind (you need to leave it unfolded). The TineeOwl will stick to the fridge safely with the cover folded back, specifically with the microfiber side facing out.Overall, I definitely prefer the TineeOwl case. I also really love the rubbery texture on the outside of the case! I also feel like it leaves a smaller desk footprint, especially if you use a keyboard with your iPad. The lip between the screen and the sides of the case on the TineeOwl is also shorter, which I find significantly more comfortable when it comes to drawing. So glad a nice alternative is finally out, and at a cheaper price point at that.

It’s awesome and pretty!
It fits my needs as an artist and student where I need to draw and I was surprised at how sturdy the case is. ❤️ The inside material is soft to touch and nice like fabric, i think the tiny detail like the artist hand drawing things adds to the aesthetic too. Overall i’m very satisfied I needed a case for a while and i’ve been considering this one but I thought a 20 dollar case would suffice but I needed reliable features and protection for my ipad which this case does!

Love this case
I wanted a case that could protect my iPad Pro wherever I went. I love the versatility of this case! I can change the angle of the iPad depending if I am drawing, writing, or watching. The magnetic feature is neat but I never put my iPad on our fridge. I traveled with my iPad and it was secure in this case.
