Coleman Fuel Filler

This is an excellent product . It comes in extremely handy for filling liguid fuel burning lanterns like Coleman's . I also use them for liquid fuel burning camp stoves . I do quite a bit of night pier and surf fishing so I burn quite a bit of fuel . These make the job of refueling 2 lanterns ,and maybe the stove so much eaiser especially if your in a dim lighted situation . You can tilt the can with no spillage because of the press to fill feature . It also has a very nice feature that allows it to stop filling when the tank is full . You don't have to try and observe have much you're putting in as to prevent a runover . This saves on fuel , spillage ,and runoff into the enviroment . It's a very simple design with a small form factor .Very transportable , and the rubber seals last for years , at least mine have . I've been very happy with mine and the ones I've used over the years , the ones which have disapeared in strange and mysterious ways :) !!!! I highly reccomend the use of these great little gadgets !

I had one years ago and used it often. I got this one to replace that one. Now that I have the Coleman can, all I hace to do is replace the expensive fuel that Coleman sells with the unleaded gas that my lantern uses. It is so much more handy than a funnel because it will stop when the tank is full, there is no spills and you don't have to worry about spills again. Great tool for filling tanks. Also no more looking for a funnel that is clean.

Love these things. They make it super convenient to fill Coleman products. When I go on trips where I do not want to bring a gallon of fuel, I usually bring a glass soda bottle with a twist off cap and screw this thing on it. You can also use this to fill the glass bottle. I have left it on bottles and cans for months with no leaks.Do be aware that after about 2-3 years the internal O-rings will dry rot and you will have to buy a new one. They couldn't make it perfect, if they did you wouldn't need to buy a new one! I have went thru about six of these now, but I keep buying them because they are so convenient.

Coleman is known for practicality, and this fuel filler is no exception. As a kid, I used the silver funnel, but this nifty red filler, attaches directly to a can of Coleman White Gas, and automatically stops when it rises to the right level. No spills or overflowing. Can't get that with the old silver funnel, and best of all, it seals, automatically, so you can leave it directly, on the can, without need to place a cap over the spout. And believe, me, I've accidentally, tipped over these cans in the back of a truck, so I can attest to their ability to seal tightly, and even reduce risk of vapor leaks or potential fire.So, if your looking for a no-nonsense reasonably priced solution for gas... that by-the-way, even works well, for filling mowers and small power equipment like, line trimmers... then buy this neat little unit. I'm certain, you won't be disappointed!

This is a great accessorie to any Coleman camping stove or lantern. It screws directly onto a gallon can of Coleman fuel and provides a spill-free way to fill up your camping tools. My dad has one that is pretty old, and though it is starting to crack in places, it still works great. I won a great Coleman 413 camping stove in an eBay auction and I couldn't resist getting myself one of these fuel fillers. Great and timeless product.

I have multiple Coleman lanterns as we use them during hunting season, and this has been a fantastic addition. I can run around the camp and fill all the lanterns very quickly. Remember, you do not have to get them completely full. I hope this small piece of advice may help you from spilling. I do take it off and keep it in a ziplock when not in use. I hope you have a fantastic time with you, Coleman Lanterns. There's just something about that light, and the sound they make a new LED light can not replicate that experience.

This works well- as others have said, I leave this on the can, it doesn’t leak or smell, then roll up the stove and lantern without messy with the screw on cap. Also this replaces the funnel.

I bought this by accident from an "Amazon recommended" thinking it was one thing, when it was another. As we were packing up for our camping trip my husband saw it and was ecstatic! Now he could pour fuel out the can without spilling or dripping it everywhere! -- Um, yes! That is exactly why I bought it! And this spout does just that. You screw it onto the can, and put the nozzle right into the fuel container. As you push the fuel can down, it releases the fuel and when you pull up the can up, it stops. Tip it over the gas can and it doesn't spill. No mess!

I wish I’d had one of these 40 years ago. It makes filling Coleman lamps quick, easy and accurate. Stops the flow of fuel into the lamp at just the right height, with no spillage. Throw your funnels away. Works equally well for naphtha or kerosene. Screw it onto the fuel can and just leave it there. Really, I’d like to shake the hand of the inventor.

Screws onto the naptha can. Filling part is spring loaded to fill. It says that when the gurgling stops, the tank is full. That part is true. To avoid spillage however, stop filling when the gurgling starts to slow down, not when the gurgling stop. This will allow the fuel left in the tip to empty into the tank without over filling.Yes I recommended it.

Works like a charm... love my Coleman gear! No more splashing of fuel during fillip and no more overfilling.

Good gadget. I would liked to know him a long time ago. The only downside is that it works only on the coleman can.
