What is the point of rechargeable Lithium AA when NiMh have improved so much?It gives initial voltage that is much closer to alkaline battery initial voltage and unlike alkaline keeps it high. Good NiMh can put out much more stable voltage than alkaline but it is not very high. This means some devices that claim to not being able to use rechargeable batteries can be used with Lithium rechargeables. Also high capacity, much lighter weight and it hold charge well.Project Farm on YouTube has a review of lithium AAs with Eneloop (best NiMh) thrown in for comparison. This battery did really well there. One of the highest initial voltages, one of the closest to claimed capacity and one of the lightest. They really are light - I imagine the AAA would be great for MiniZ or some flying things.These look like the regular batteries - they do not have a charging port like most Lithium rechargeables. You must use proprietary charger since they require 5v charging unlike NiMh which get charged via 1.5v. 2port one is fine since they charge very quickly. They have electronics on board to handle charging so they do not require expensive smart charger to cut them out.Green light is on when the charger is on, battery lights up around perimeter when it is charging and turns off when it is done.So far so good.Word of caution, if you damage the casing on any lithium battery you must no longer use it but take to the battery recycling place.

Using these with the Quest 2 controllers, these are awesome and a must-have! Well worth the price, they last a really long time, so you can crank up the haptic settings in the controllers as you don't have to worry about battery life.They even work with the Quest 2's battery percentage indicator, so you can pop them to charge once every few weeks or month once you see it start dropping. \(^◇^*)/The charger is really good also, I think it does under 2 hours from empty, but I've been charging it from low instead as you should with all batteries to help with longevity, and it's speedy! I think these will last way over 3 years if used in heavily, and probably the lifetime of my VR headset… (◑◡◐)Indicator lights on the charger and on the batteries whilst charging, you can also charge these individually with the charger included.
