Lovely Snail A-Frame Bracket Swing Set Heavy Duty Steel Brackets with Mounting Hardware 1 Pack Green

This is a heavy duty metal piece to make it easy to assemble the swing set. I would definitely recommend using these. The only confusion I had were how many pieces you received when ordering. I read pair here and pack there. But in reality it's an each. You get one bracket. It was no big deal, we just ordered another one. The kids love their new swings.

Seems strong and sturdy. A little rust after a month near the weld so I’ll have to keep an eye on it. But otherwise very good. Fit a 4x6 and two 4x4s without any need to trim the wood down like some of the other comments said. Snug fit, but the wood usually shrinks anyway so it’s better right as far as I’m concerned so it won’t loosen up over time.

This seemed like a much better option than buying the kits and you can make it as big as you want. I used a 4x6x12 for the top beam and 4x4x10 for the legs. I added the braces to the sides and it’s a beast.Only negative is there was some paint scraped off the brackets from shipping because they are just sprayed, not powder coated. Nothing a can of spray paint can’t fixI saw some reviews saying the wood wouldn’t fit in the slots and required some trimming. I didn’t have that issue. In fact, I had a little extra room. Even with using soaking wet pressure treated wood.

Took maybe 45 minutes to put the whole thing together. I used 4-4x10’s, 1-4x6x10 and 2-2x4x6 for the side supports. All the other stuff was also bought on Amazon, swings, brackets. Wood was at Lowe’s with 3” exterior screws for supports. I’m going to use a cork screw type anchor for each corner once the snow melts. Pre drill everything!! It will make your life easier.

These are as advertised. My only issue (and the reason I took a start off) was because one of these was such a tight fit it took me a half an hour to pound one on the end of the post. It wasn't the wood, we tried it on the other side of the post. And the other piece slid on and off like a dream. They come packaged with no protection, just tossed in a box. I'm guessing the one that was difficult to get on was on the bottom and probably got slightly dented. Enough you couldn't see it v that easily. But we got it in and the swing set is VERY sturdy.
