I installed this on the cab of a Bobcat ToolCat (similar to a skid steer) because I often need to exit a gate on our ranch that is hidden by trees and entering the small road that I need to drive on has been challenging.I had my wife stand on the road in each direction to see if my Bobcat was more noticeable with and without this strobe attached to the roof. She “tested” the sight distance at 300 feet and again at 600 feet, and said the strobe did a good job of being seen through the trees from both directions and clearly gave sufficient warning that my Bobcat was about to enter the county road.But of course with distracted drivers these days, I suspect the only other thing that could be better would be a flag man wearing a safety vest. This strobe works for much less money and does the job I need it for.Magnets hold the strobe to the roof quite well, even when a small tree branch comes into contact with the light.The cord is long enough to work fine for my roughting and thankfully the cord is straight and not coiledThe light is bright enough in the daytime and exceptionally bright at night.It’s not a full-fledged 47 inch long traffic advisor light bar, but it’s great to have to quickly put on the top of your pickup or car, should you become disabled on the side of the road.

I LOVE this strobe light! It has multiple flash settings and it is VERY bright during the DAY and NIGHT, of course. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the cord length. 10' isn't quite enough if you were putting it on a tractor for instance. If you want to splice the cord to add distance, beware. The cord not only has the wiring for your battery to contend with, you'll have to deal with 7 additional strobe lighting wires. To much work to splice, in my opinion. Other than that, I fully recommend buying this strobe light.

Great low profile light will see how it does in winter this year

I've had this light for a bit now and I must say. It stays on top of the car with no problem. (I take it off when I drive through car washes). The light stays on my car most of the time. Right now it's always either snowing or raining as I live in upstate NY and the weather has not damaged the light at all. (I test it every week or so in my driveway). The light has a very low profile which is probably why it stays so good even in bad wind storms. Over all the light is good. It is only a foot long so it's not very long but it is a 360 light and that's what I wanted. I would buy again.

This product was very satisfactory for the price point. There are brighter lights but at a much greater price. The brightness was my biggest concern and I am satisfied.

The light in short is cute. The issue is not so much the quality but the actual functionality. The light bar is low profile and sleek if not actually I say sexy. The construction is good if not okay, it is robust, it looks as if it will stand up to a couple years of enduring the environment. The ouput is not as bright as most believe or say, the optic is subpar and scattered. The flash patterns is epeliptic with no off time. This product is comparable to if not could be found of a big box auto part store in between colored wiper blades and rgb led strips. I find this fit for a private security officer in his subcompact car breathing Newports. If this light bar had different (slower patterns) I maybe willing to give it a four star review. But as for now it's not going to see any other action outside of the inside of the box until other wise.

it is everything I wanted for the plow season... the LEDs a bright and like the many different flashing options.

This came in a small package so I was disappointed at first. Then installed it by just setting it on the top and I really like it. It's sleek and not bulky, fits so nicely with my smallish car. Its magnet is so strong, it's hard to move once it's set down. The strobe lights about blinded me when I was trying out the different patterns. So BRIGHT! I'm really pleased. Better than I expected!

I am so involved in my husband's trucking life :). We tried other ones and other brands but it is not as great as this. My husband is very please and so happy and been playing the lights even when he is not using it.
