Eczema: How to Ditch the Itch Paperback – Illustrated, 1 August 2020

I bought the book a year ago because our daughter Amelie suffers from eczema from time to time. The book is very well written with lots of good advice for parents and patients alike. Highly recommend! We look forward to the sequel:)

I don't usually write reviews but this book was so unbelievably helpful. I have an 11 yr old with eczema and chronic urticaria and have struggled for years with conflicting advice from different professionals. Finally saw a dermatologist last week and she recommended this book. I read it over the weekend and it explained so many things that I hadn't previously fully understood. It also made me feel much more able to answer friends and family who constantly feed in doubts about the safety of steroid use. Wish I'd had this info years ago.

I do believe it can help people take better control of their eczemaMy advice : replace emollient with natural organic skincare that suits you; follow her plan and it should give you great chance of healingNot 5 stars because the author does not talk a lot about alternative/ natural medicine as a cure to eczema; and also consider that corticoïdes is absolutely not dangerous despite the long list of secondary effects she wrote at the end

Excellent book recommended to me by a consultant dermatologist at my local hospital. I thought I was fairly well informed from my work as a health care professional as well as having 3 family members with various severities of eczema but I have learned a lot and will recommend to patients.
