I purchased this for my Betta as the other filter was too strong. It’s brilliant, I struggled to find one at a good price, I think this is great. It’s quite quiet, just make sure the pump isn’t sitting against anything. The filter is adjustable with the little grey knob which is very handy. It cleared up the water so quickly I was really pleasantly surprised with it’s performance. Assembling was easy enough, just ensure the back flow valve has the narrow end towards the water flow. Make sure to have scissors on hand to trim the tubing to the desired length as well.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought for a 25L (40x25x25cm) small tank (included image for reference and size).I imagine it'd be perfect for betta and delicate fish/fry etc as it's extremely gentle.I intend to grow out some live plants and add a couple small nano fish but thought I'd just pop it in and let it run a while to see how it does.For the price it's a good complete little kit, even got the air stone even though only ordered the sponge filter version (air stone useless as doesn't fit within the sponge filter etc but still a welcome freebie).Not totally silent operation, the actual power unit does vibrate obviously but it quickly absorbs into the background noise and i'd say it's just a little more noticeable than a PC fan (noticeable but not in an obnoxious way)

The pump is really good and it's quiet. The sponge filter is about the size of a 50p so make sure it's what you want. I didn't check the dimensions before ordering

Value for money and very quiet but it doesn’t come with instructions but I’m lucky to know how it has to install

Its stopped working completely

It's powerful for its size. It did vibrate a lot so I've placed it on a sponge in the cabinet. It comes with everything you need including a one way valve so you don't risk electrocution. The sponge filter is tiny but produces plenty of bubbles in my 25 litre shrimp tank. I tried it in my larger 54 litre aquarium with a much larger bubbler and it was powerful enough for that. Its not possible to adjust the flow so it may be a bit much for creatures that prefer stiller water. The shrimp seem happy and it didn't bother the guppies and Corydoras in the larger aquarium. Cheaper than buying separately but if you want something flow adjustable, look elsewhere.

Tiny little sponge filter, works well in 10 litre, quite powerful for its size. Sadly the stop valve was broken so have had to use without it. Would have scored higher if there was no damaged parts.

This is a brilliant filter and pump for my betta tank such good value for money
