This is the book to read if you'd like to understand the culture and background of Hampe. And it doesn't have the annoying spellings that hound most other books. It has a section on Kamalapuram! That's a lovely place to visit and stay if you're visiting Hampe.It also has black and white pictures of most monuments. Do pick it up if you're interested in the place.
