The good folks at TATTOOTRIBES continue to provide inspiration and information...this time focusing on small, attractive, and ALL-NEW -drawn for this book- Polynesian/(OCEANIC) DESIGNS.It is a great survey, or introduction, to the motifs of this genre and there is a brief explanation of the meanings related to the various forms.I have included some pages from the book, as the 'preview' is...well...underwhelming?The designs are useable right out of the book, or as starters for your creativity.(If you are interested in the motifs of Polynesian designs and the meaning behind them, go to their website and seek out their informative email newsletter...also, they have their other books here on Amazon.)

With the book had more pages and more tattoos but it's good for the price

Wer sich mit der Polynesischen Kultur und deren Tätowierungen auseinandersetzen möchte macht mit dem Buch nichts falsch. Ich hatte mir damals die ganze Serie gekauft und habe daraus mein Tattoo zusammengestellt.

Very simple Polynesian styled designs, ideal for small tattoos that can be easily hidden at work. The meanings at the end are general and not specific to each design, but the tattoos include lots of interesting ideas. Overall, a nice book and my favorite in the Small Tattoos series.
