These carbon shafts are "Locked" which means they do not spin. The main feature of this carbon shaft is a small piece of metal inside the thread of the stem that makes the shaft much more durable where it tends to break often. This in turn adds a bit of weight to the shaft compared to the non-premium carbon shafts. The built-in flight protectors allow each dart to slide past each other without catching and ripping the bottom edge of the flights. This shaft also holds flights incredibly tight so they will not pop off the shaft. Each set comes with a set of Premium Champagne Rings and one set of GOMU shaft tighteners. These shafts can be used with paper flights, foldable flights, molded flights and all L-style flights.
