Grace Goes To Washington: 2 (Grace for President, 2)

We love "grace for president" book - both for representation, dreaming big and explaining our electoral system. This book takes it a step further and explains the branches of the government... which for my kids 4-8 is really helpful in navigating what is going on in our world today. A must have before the election.

This is a great book that not only teaches about our governmental checks and balances, but it also highlights the importance of kindness and making others feel included. My one complaint about this book is that it starts on a Friday, the students take a field trip “the next day”, and then the students are back at school the day after that (which would be Sunday). It drives me a little nuts every time we read it, but my two year old son is obsessed with Grace so we read it each night!

Bought this series for my niece who is in 2nd grade. She loves these books. Big hit with Mom too. Great gift.

Well written, great book for kids, especially girls, but even boys can learn from this.

Got this book for my granddaughter. Besides her great great great grandma name was Grace.
