Loved this book...really made me think!
I'm a graphic designer and art major, so this book appealed to me right off. But, it's not REALLY about those things in particular. But I loved it. The book's appeal is broad. God is creative and He calls us to participate in that. I can get on board with that!It did take a number of pages for me, before the book really hooked me, but then I was off and running, and highlighting passages to remember for later. This book is about engaging with a creative God. Not a god of formulas, but a God who is creative and unique and has His own playbook...but the good thing is this God wants US to participate. Love his recurring analogy about participating in the dance. Here are a few lines that I highlighted:"God refuses to be boxed in. God seeks to be on the move.""He wants us knowing that for us to succeed we have to keep listening fur further instructions.""Creativity requires obedience because our participation in creativity is to bring forth the reality that God seeks to speak through us.""Trying to use your gifts apart from God is like being blessed with a rocket, but not having any rocket fuel. As awesome as it looks, the end result is empty and futile.""Faith is a matter of holding on, from the giving of a promise to the completion of that work.""Part of the beauty of the creative soul is that it is constantly seeking more creation.""Doing something creatively at the behest of the Caller draws others into the desire for that same sort of relationship and response...remember that worship is about how we live our lives."Highly recommend this book!

This book. I received it as a gift and will be buying more for gifts! Although little, it packs quite a punch of wisdom and truth with a side of funny, all while being down to earth and not judgy. This book has helped shift my mindset much more towards Jesus, and reminded me to think outside the box more. Being creative doesn't just mean the arts...being creative is a part of life!

Unleash your creativity
I have never seen myself as a creative person but this book has helped me see myself more as a creative person made in the image of a creative God. Easy to read but profound at the same time.

We were born with an innate desire to create and to make a difference. We were made to create and to crave the creative. Nate's words paint a picture that causes us to see that we are creative many ways. Creativity is found in more than just a drawing on a page. Creating is an act of worship we are privileged to participate in. This little book packs a powerful punch that will encourage you to engage with the Creator to create many a masterpiece.

Powerful book
I love to read and have read many great books that have inspired me and motivated me to be a better follower of Christ! This book was recommended to me by a dear friend and couldn't have came to me at a better time! As I read this book I felt God speak to me through it very gently but very powerfully and very differently! A great book for anyone to read, but especially those truly trying to find your calling and purpose in this life! Highly recommended!
