Anolon Authority Hard-Anodized Nonstick Covered Dutch Oven with Steamer Insert, 5-Quarts, Gray

I love this pot.I was evacuated because of COVID and had to buy one pot and one pan to replace the dozen more expensive pots and pans in my normal kitchen. It does everything well and is they perfect size for families of 1-4. The nonstick coat has been great. It steams very well. It's big enough to cook one pound of pasta. It makes fantastic rice. You can saute in it. I've baked bread in it the oven. It hold enough heat to seat meat. It even looks great.It will continue to be our go-to pot for rice and steaming when we return home, and will get lots of other use as well. Highly recommend and very affordable.

This is a versatile tool. It is a good size and is easy to clean. You can steam two artichokes using the steamer insert, and it's large enough for a coq au vin or other casserole. The steamer fits into the dishwasher easily. Very happy with this combo.

Great new hefty steamer pot. We have a smooth top electric stove, so this pan is slower to heat up and water will boil but never a "full rolling boil." We've been using it mostly for steaming large batches of vegetables. Works great and cleans up easily.

For years I’ve been unable to use metal on non stick surfaces. Plus! The bottom to the steamer is a great size for cooking my speciality dishes.

Perfect size steamer, not too big or too small. It heats up FAST, and works well with no air escaping from the stacked double layers. The only reason why i'm not giving it 5 stars is that the bottom anolon tends to leave a white residue after use that's hard to clean off.

This works great on a glass-top stove, which my previous pan did not. The steamer was the feature I bought it for, and that also worked much better than what I had in the past. So happy that it's dishwasher-safe, as many of the choices on the market are not. Highly recommended!

I bought this pot to replace my 30 year old silverstone pot that I used weekly for everything from boiling water to baking casseroles. It is a very heavy pot even when it is empty. I like the PFOA coating since it won't flake off like the old teflon pots did. I wanted a versatile pot with multiple functions. It is oven safe and has metal handles which are good for the oven. The loops and angle of the handle provides a secure handhold. Glass lids are perfect for checking on the pot without lifting the lid. The only thing I wish it had were oven safe handles that stay cool.

I am in the slow process of replacing my disappointing set of Kitchenaid ( ! ) pots and pans with Anolon, which I love. Recently added this to the mix: larger and bigger around than most (the same diameter as my stock pot. It's become essential, and I wish I'd gotten this years ago. The only ding is that I wish the handles stuck out a little further. I've singed a couple of towels / potholders.
