My chair legs are square, 1.25" (or 1 1/4") wide by long. The square set fit them perfectly. The back legs of my chairs slant a little bit and it still worked fine. My chairs are a very dark espresso color on the wooden parts - and this does not detract from the look. You have to really LOOK at the bottoms to notice them. I'd say they are 80-90% see through. They also stay ON and they slide so easily and quietly. Thank you! Love them!

I’ve had these for over a year now, and they still work great. The stick-on pads would always fall off, and the silicone caps would always rip after a couple months. My Ike kitchen chairs are slightly rectangular, so it was tough finding a good fit. But these are perfect. I just bought them again—not because they don’t work anymore, but because they’re getting a little worn/dingy. I could keep going with the first set if I needed to.

Works well for what I needed. Felt pads were out over time and I have the sticker ones as they easily come off and don’t want to keep nailing the other type in. These are easy to take on and off. They are a little loose on mine but they work well to protect my hardwood floors.

These things are so awesome that not only did I use all 12 I ordered, I immediately bought 24 more for my boyfriend.Pros:* Easy to install on the right size chair leg* Possible to force onto legs up to 1/4" too large* Extremely solid and durable once installed* Bottom slides easily on floor -- this makes it perfect for furniture you move around a lot, such as chairs. I tried a few furniture feet and some others were super grippy and made it a little difficult to pull a chair in and out quickly. These do protect your floor, but they really do look unattractive. I bought both the square and rectangular and they fit pretty well. Easy to put on. I can't speak as to durability because this is a recent purchase. I think it's better than the small ones that stick to the bottom of the leg because these don't collect pet hair and seem to be pretty durable. The only problem I have is the look.7/1/21: So these were really turned out to be a bad buy. They are unattractive and have become loose and fall off every time I move a chair. And sorry to say, they do collect as much pet hair as the pads you stick on the bottom of the leg, which was the reason I bought them, to avoid those pet hair globs. Definitely would not recommend and would not buy again. Back to the small sticky pads.

I thought I'd try these for my kitchen chairs. We just had our hardwood floors refinished and I didn't want the chairs to scratch the floor. I hate the stick on floor protectors which always end up sliding off the bottom of the chair leg...after they pick up every bit of dust and dog hair in the room. If you're thinking about getting these, GET THEM! You will not be disappointed! Make sure that you measure the chair legs. If your chairs have a tack thing on the bottom, be sure to remove them before putting these on. I only ordered one pack because I was thinking these probably wouldn't work. I am now ordering more for my kitchen chairs and for my dining room chairs, too.

I originally used a different brand of these floor protectors, but one fell off & was lost when moving and since you can't buy just one, I needed to purchase a new set. I love the option of different shapes and that you get 16 per package for a set of four chairs. I purchased the square ones and they fit perfectly even though the chair legs are a little angled. Super simple to install and the chairs glide over the hardwood floors without scratching.

Even though I measured my chair legs prior to ordering(as suggested), the covers don't stay on my chairs. Everytime we lift a chair the covers fall off. They originally slid well on the wood floors due to the felt, but the felt collects all the little bits of dropped food, hair, etc and they look filthy within a weeks time. Finding them once they've fallen off, cleaning and putting them back on isn't worth what they do. I've purchased a different brand that I like much better.

I purchased these as a gift for their new table. We are all very pleased: they look great and the chairs slide smoothly. Actually these were the only 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 that I could find and they are perfect.I recommend these chair leg protectors.

I purchased 2 sets of these for my 6 dining chairs and they're perfect in allowing the chairs to slide out from under the table without scratching the floor.
