Glo time FUN!
We have used these for a outside evening school showcase and then I bought them for a night time egg hunt with my grand littles. They are so much fun! Adults were asking where they could get them.

Could use another LED or two, but still fun
These are a tad disappointing, but still have some fun in them. They really are just foam tubes. There's a plastic insert at one end with the batteries and push button control. 4 light combinations. The disappointment was there seems to be only 4 LEDs in the tube. It's a rather long tube for just 4. 6 would have lit it better.Still, for a kid's toy or, in my case, for adults doing a 5k nite run for charity, they're still fun.Nothing fell apart. Button batteries were included, just remove the plastic separator. Easy grip. This will depend on price, for me, if I ever bought these again. If you think it's a reasonable price when you see it, then they're worth considering, I think.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many things you buy every day will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice. To be the most fabulous possible Air Traffic Controller
These are somewhat ridiculous but also mesmerizing little toys. What do you do with them? They are not glow sticks, but are about a foot long. They can't be used like foam swords, because the lights keep turning off if you hit them, and they're really not sturdy enough for that. My kids (9 and 12) were both intrigued and baffled by them, and got about 5-10 minutes of fun out of them before they became bored. Because what, really, are these for? It's hard to know, but I'll save the remaining 10 (we received a pack of 12) for a kids' birthday party and hope that the kids can figure out something fun to do with them. One good thing about them is that unlike a glow stick, they do not have a short life span once used. Instead they are more like a flashlight. You can turn them off and on, and with care, they could last a while until the internal battery wears out. So while I'm not really sure what they are for, they are a bizarre novelty that can be fun for the right occasion.

Too Blinky
These foam sticks have 3 modes - fast stobe, slow strobe, and what I'll call blinking. There is no steady on mode and the slowest blinking is still blinking rather than transitioning. Now imagine having 12 of these in kids' hands running around. It's enough to overstimulate anyone and if you have epilepsy or other sensitivity to light, watch out!The kids all wanted to bend the lights, which they will do, but don't overdo it - I think that's how one of them broke after about 5 minutes of use.On the plus side, they are soft, light and smooth, so no worries about bonks, slaps, or scrapes. There are no chemicals. And for a pack of 12, they aren't too expensive. I would give higher marks if only they weren't so darn blinky.

Lots of fun
These are so much fun, they are soft and bright and the modes can be changed from blinking, flashing or just steady. Lots of fun for a kids party.

Lots of fun for our unicorn themed birthday party
We picked these up to serve as horns for a unicorn themed birthday party that we recently had and they were great! The light up patterns were bright and colorful and easy to turn on and off. Out of the whole set we only had one that didn't work, which considering the price, I'm not complaining. Lots of fun!

Great for Kids Sleepover or camping
My daughters had about 10 friends sleep over and we handed these out for use during. Everyone had a great time, though a couple of them broke due to abuse, so I'd say they're not as kid proof or durable as I'd like. I have not yet had one run out of batteries but in the interest of sustainability, I hope it's possible to replace these rather than simply toss them out. The hardest part of having these was when we had to confiscate them for sleepytime as the kids would not stop playing with them. I guess that's good for future reference.
