You get what you pay for.
I bought this for my kids 5th birthday. We didn't know that you had to take the tape off to charge until a few minutes ago which isn't that big of a deal. However one of the main reasons we got the system for her was because of mario bros. When you try and start the original mario bros game it does nothing it doesn't let you enter the game. It let us use super mario 3 and 2 but the orignal it does not. It is very cheaply made but I cant complain because it is for a 5 year and it does have alot of the games that I grew up with and love to play. I am hoping that its only the one game that doesn't play but it still is a bummer because its the main game we wanted to play.

Need to peel tape from battery!!!
There is a very small clear piece of tape over the battery that you need to peel off for the battery to charge. I didn’t know this until I contacted the seller.

I originally gave this 1 star for the reason below, but have added 2 more stars because of their customer service. Once they found out that the device did not work properly, they made the situation right. Great to deal with, good seller.My son was excited to get the mock gameboy and began charging it immediately. It works while it's plugged in. It's been charging for 10 hours and the game shuts off when you unplug it and will not turn on. The battery is garbage, and never worked right out of the box. I would not recommend this game or anything from this seller. This is not something that is a rare issue. Definitely disappointed and so is my son. What a horrible Christmas present. I guess you get what you pay for, or maybe not.

Nice all in one for classic games
I got this handheld gaming system mainly for Super Mario Bros. It has 1 and 3 also some others that are Mario bros with a twist for example the one game has mice instead of global. Haven't gone through all the games butit has some duplicates. Connecting to TV is easy with av cables and is a lot easier to play on TV. Charges quickly in about 1 hours and battery gas a pretty good run time. Just make sure to peel plastic off battery terminals before charging.

Worth the price.
It’s a cheap little thing, to be expected, but only downside, it doesn’t hold a charge, you have to put batteries in it, or else you will have to continuously leave it on the charger while they play it.

GOOD TO BRING MEMORIES BACK
The games are all classic and bring back fond memories of my childhood. The device is compact and portable, making it easy to take with me on the go. The battery life is good allowing me to play for extended periods of time without needing to recharge. The controls are responsive and the screen resolution is good for the price.

Glitchy and mostly unplayable games
It has pac-man, super mario brothers 1 and 3, galaga, and space invaders. Most of the other 395 games are garbage that you'll try once and never want to play again. I was excited that it has tetris, but the version is unplayable due to it being half screen and blocks are out of alignment. Hard to explain, but the version is not playable.For $20, getting a system that plays 5 games is actually not that bad of a deal. The problem is that they are glitchy and do not function properly. For instance, in Pac-man the controls are off and about 25% of the time the pacman doesn't move in the direction you are pointing it. And with the mario games it keeps freezing up at random points where the only solution is to restart the game. It happens frequently enough that I have yet to be able to complete the game without it freezing up at some point along the way. Attached is a screenshot from it freezing up in mario 3.It's hard to expect much from a $20 investment, but the quality of the product has been very frustrating.
