like the product; hate the customer service
updated review. The harness is great (those that are sewn correctly - one of the three I have was incorrectly put together). Unfortunately the owner is not great on customer service. She responds quickly but is accusatory in terms of blame. When the harness was incorrectly put together she said she'd help me untwist it but never called to help. She then accused me of not sending her pictures. Now that I've proved I sent her pictures her response is because she answers emails quickly that proves she is great at customer service (even though she wouldn't help untwist the harness). The harness is fraying in front and her response is it's all because the dog chews on the harness. Since my puppy only wears the harness for walks and I'm with him the entire time of his short walks, I can guarantee he's not chewing on it. The company owner says I'm mistaken and the dog is chewing on the harness and I don't see it. If the harness is put together correctly, it's great and keep it. Don't expect any help from the owner if there's a problem. Send the harness back and get a replacement or get some other type of harness. If I could give no stars, based on the owner's attitude and behavior, I would.

Flimsy strap material, frays in days.
Initially I was so pleased, my pup immediately stopped pulling! But only 2 days of use and front strap is already frayed ( 5 walks, 20 lb pup) Not in location she could chew. Will return for replacement, since it worked so well, will update results.2nd harness frayed in 3 places in 3 days of use. Design causes sideways pulling on dog and thus straps, but material is too flimsy for its purpose

10/10 recommend
We were recommended this harness because my dog has a small head and has habit of backing out of harnesses , he also pulled a lot on a leash. We’ve had our first one for about 9 months now and while it’s dirty it’s in very good condition. We ordered a second one so that we had a backup in case we ever need it but the first one is still in great condition. We also love the martingale style back clip which helps prevent him from backing out and also helps with leash pulling. 10/10 recommend

Works as promised, has good adjustability, nice quality
The Freedom Harness was recommended by our trainer in obedience class. It keeps our little 23 lb mutt from pulling & fits her nicely. Make sure to follow the fitting instructions, so that the fit is snug but not too tight. Great choice of colors and the velveteen straps that go under the legs are soft. Have only used for about 3 weeks, so can't speak to durability, but it looks as if it will hold up well.

For one, I would go for the harness that includes the double leash in your purchase, especially since this is designed to help train against pulling. I'm a little concerned about the straps as well; for dogs that pull it might be better for us to use a more cushioned harness and have individual training sessions with the Freedom harness. Dogs that pull run a high risk of developing goiters around the neck and shoulder area, so you have to be careful - another reason I am anti-collar until the dog learns to heel/walk 'nicely'.

Seems comfortable
This is one harness that my dog doesn't mind wearing. He is really skittish and all harnesses put him in a tizzy. This one slips on easily and he acts as if it is comfortable.

Easy to use
This is the second one I have bought in 3 months. The first one didn’t last long. Trying this one to see if it lasts longer.

Great harness but a bit expensive!
Very well made harnesses and very practical with a front and back attachment loop! I already have two - 2 Hounds Design Freedom No-Pull Harnesses - which I ordered in the last four years for my Samoyed and my Dalmatian. Those came as a kit with a double-attachment leash, and they have proven to be very good with my two big dogs, and I found each kit to be reasonably priced. However, this small harness, which came with no leash, I found a bit too pricey, considering the size of the harness. This harness was for a small dog (Cocker Spaniel) and compared to my two other harnesses of much larger size, this small one was a bit too expensive, so, sadly, I returned it.I give it a four-star review because of the price, but the harness itself is of great quality and like no other that I have seen on the market!

Three Stars
Unfortunately it didn't work for our quite reactive dog. :(
