The colors are nice and the quality looks good. I ordered this especially for top stitching. Only thing is; the thread is too fat to thread any of my Singer sewing machine needles. This could be mentioned in the description, that you might need a needle with a larger hole. My automatic needle threader couldn't pull it through the hole of a "denim" needle. I took the needle out of the sewing machine and tried to manually thread it and it still wouldn't go through the hole, single stranded. Guess I'd better order some other needles. Maybe it's because I have always top stitched with regular thread. Here is what I will order, in case anyone else has run into this problem. Just thought I'd mention so you don't have to order twice. I have no idea in what world this thread is meant to be heavy enough for jeans. You don't even need scissors to cut it! And no matter how sharp the scissors you do use are, you can't get a clean cut. The thing that makes it absolutely unusable is that it frays inside the sewing machine, making a mess of everything. I thought I could make it work if I went slowly and carefully enough, but I still ended up breaking a needle because of the different plies moving at different rates and getting caught up around it. I've never taken thread off of a bobbin to throw it away before.

Nothing to keep the thread on the rolls. The black came with part of it off the roll and a helpless tangle that made it useless. Otherwise seems to be a strong thread, even though I could not tell since with out the black it wasn't able to be used. Updated the review after finding another use for the other spools. Thread does seem to be strong and it's easy to use. It would be 5 stars if I didn't have to deal with the tangled mess of now 2 of the spools. BUT it also is a good price.

They are pretty and thick. Not sure about quality consistency throughout the spool, because my machine does not like them. My machine has struggled a little with another heavy duty thread, so it could be me. Used a heavy duty needle, but maybe there is a stronger one for my machine I can try. Haven't checked on that yet. Would be nice for hand sewing.

I order this thread by mistake. It is really thick so it doesn't work for sewing machine. Although it has a really good quality for other hand sewing projects.

Not the worst thread ever, but they've broken quite a few times as I was sewing with them. Not the best for sewing heavy fabric/denim but would use for buttons or hand sewing work that needs a thicker thread.

Headline says super thick but it is actually very thin like regular thread

This will trash a sewing machine. Extreme low quality of Finnish...

Very fuzzy. Poor quality. Pay the extra for Gutermann or other known higher quality brand.
