I bought this as a possible improvement/alternative over the  Colony Brown Waxed Canvas Grocery Bags  I already owned. I returned it as soon as I received it, before ever even bothering to use it.OK, they are as attractive as they look in the pictures … at least from a distance.But close-up, the threads of the fabric are very thin. You can actually hold it up to the light and see-through the weave of it. So close-up the fabric looks cheap. And when it's full and you can (sort of) see the groceries inside THAT isn't going to look very fashionable. That's going to look cheap. Then there is the question of how well this thin material will hold up over time … versus the waxed canvas bags that are made of much thicker material.The handles come folded-over/creased … and it doesn't look like that will change over time. The handles are stiff and their rough edges are uncomfortable to grip, they feel like they are pressing/cutting into your palms. This would be a much better product if the designers would rethink the handles entirely.By the way, it's not really clear what these handles are made of, 'faux leather' or 'just' leather. Twice on this page it says 'faux leather;' in two other places the page just says 'leather.'When I opened the bag the interior plastic lining was off-gassing something that smells similar to bug spray. Not entirely overpowering, but absolutely there. The question is how long will that last … and do I want bug spray off-gassing into my fruits & veggies?Again, it looks pretty stylish from a distance. We love it! We were wanting something to put recycling in that could hang on a hook by the back door and this is perfect. It's stylish, well made, great size, and has a coated lining that can be easily cleaned. Two thumbs up!!

This is the perfect bag with one issue, the handles need to be long enough to go over the shoulder. It is really a nice bag!

Great for your grocery trips! I shop for one person so it’s the perfect size. Very easy to organize your groceries in, stands up straight when packing.

Ok these really did seem great, sturdily built, right sized, classic style but....After two weeks airing outside they were still off gassing. Yikes! Maybe if I wasn't putting food in them I wouldn't have minded but I just couldn't bring myself to put groceries in something that 2 weeks later reeked like cheap plastic.
