Very comfortable
I love this cushion. It eases my lower back pain. Easy to inflate/deflate and take on a plane or long car rides or sitting at my desk.

Sturdy, very very comfy, easy to use
Writing this review because there is only one, in my opinion, there needs to be more.My problem: I cheaped out on an office chair and now I'm paying the price in pain. The cushion is compressed and the seat is very hard on my hip, all day, every day. But I don't want to spend $500-$1000 on an office chair so soon.AJUVIA PilateSeat to the rescue. I didn't want another foam cushion. Read the comments, they don't last. So I kept looking and eventually found this. I suspected it would work well, as I have a similarly designed camping pillow. The product exceeded my expectations for comfort. I sit for long periods daily. This simple thing has brought tremendous relief. Happy sigh. The product met my expectations for ease of use and sturdiness. Barring abuse the tough plastic bladder should hold up. If you have lungs and lips it is quite easy to inflate, not a joke; because of the permanently attached screw cap valve it doesn't seem there is any other way to inflate the bladder; as a plus you won't be looking for a dropped and rolling away valve cap. It is very easy to slowly release pressure while sitting on it, to get that right feel.Tip: The cushion is 100% air suspended, no filler and no chambers. So it is a little splashy or wobbly at first. It may take a little getting used to and a little strengthening of your midsection, but shouldn't be a problem for most people. After a week I was a pro at riding this cloud.Tip: It took a few days for my pain to recede. That is just normal recovery. My advice, give it some days. Conclusion: If you're at wit's end looking for an affordable pad to augment your hard seat, this may be well worth the try. It is a little pricey compared to other low-end foam and gel pads (that clearly don't work, read the comments), but when you're in pain this product has a small price tag. For more serious users, e.g. wheelchairs, maybe you'll like to try this one before you take the leap up to the next tier of air/chambered cushions which cost hundreds.

I can't tell if I like it....
So I did follow the instructions and use just a breath to start with. I've tried more and less air in it. It is definitely better than the padding my office chair I came with, I just can't make up my mind if I like it. I move around a LOT during my 8 hours, changing positions, and sometimes it works for how I want to sit, and some ways it's not as good. It does slide back and forth on my chair, (like I said, I move A LOT) but it's easy to tug back into place when I get up. Nice that it won't move aside to side as much though. A little conflicted, but way cheaper than a new chair.

It does help a bit
This cushion isn’t something I would want to sit on for excessive periods of time. It does help with posture as I am constantly reminded that I’m sitting on it. At no point did it reach a time where I was comfortable enough to forget I was balancing myself, so I couldn’t help but be conscious of my spinal position. After awhile I just felt like I was stiffening my back while sitting on a balloon. I think I noticed the cushion helping with my hip alignment but I personally was uncomfortable wobbling after about 20 minutes. I think this would work well for someone more dedicated than me.

So impressed!
I've tried a LOT of cushions, lumbar supports, etc etc, and this one is by far the best. It immediately supports my posture, and even makes it easier to breathe!I was in a bad car accident about 5 years ago, and have had issues with the strength in my spine and my posture has suffered. I've developed some poor posture habits to compensate while sitting at my desk all day. If I hadn't received this product as part of the Vine program, I probably would not have risked $50 on it. But it is totally worth it!So, you set it up by putting about one breath of air into it. You won't feel like it's done much of anything, but put it on your seat, and sit, with your back away from the chair. You will be sitting straight and with no thinking about it, or effort! Amazing! It also says to start using it for short periods and work your way up, and then to slowly start adding a bit of air as you adjust. I did make the mistake of adding too much air too quickly, and actually got a muscle spasm in my core just under my ribs. That means it does work to work your core muscles, which is good, but you do want to build up slowly. I took the extra air out and tried again the next day and was fine. The quality of this cushion is good. It comes in a nice box, and with good instructions. Like I said, I'm impressed with it, love it, and think it's a good value for the price.
