The 32 Most Effective SAT Math Strategies: A Roven Roadmap to Your First-choice College

I taught math in the NYC school system for 32 years and also taught on the college level. I found this book to be quite engaging from the beginning. It is not written like a math textbook, which we all know can be very boring. Dr. Warner gives problem-solving strategies for those with a proper math background and for those without. His explanations are simple and interesting as he guides the reader to the various topics. I like that he starts the book off with some basic ideas in attacking the SAT. He also disspells some common myths about the exam. My grandson, who is soon to be a high school senior taking the SAT in the fall, is currently using the book. His ability to handle the SAT is improving. I highly recommend this book.
