ColumbiaBoys' Watertight Jacket

Bought this for my son for outdoor school. He’s used it multiple times in the rain and been dry afterwards.

I bought this raincoat in a size large for a skinny 12 year old and the size is good / long enough. I would size up if your child is not as skinny. We have to see how waterproof it is but it looks promising and thin enough to wear during warmer weather (you will need to add layers if you are planning to wear below F 50) .

My son likes this raincoat. It is lightweight and protects against rain and wind. I like the mesh liner so the outer shell does not stick to his skin.

Great coat, would recommend that you know what size your child is with this brand though because they run one size up. My child is normally a large but wears a Medium with Columbia.

Love this rain jacket for my son. It’s the second one we’ve ordered, just in the bigger size this time as he has grown. Super light weight and truly waterproof. The first time we ordered it was to wear under his soccer jersey when he was playing in torrential rain and cold. It helped keep him dry and less miserable on the field. Now it’s great to roll up and shove in the side pocket of his backpack to take to school for unexpected rain showers here in the PNW.

Excellent jaxket. Bought this for my 5 year old son to wear to school so he can stay dry on the playground on rainy days (which are often).Perfect. Fits nicely, hood has a little peak on it to keep his face dry, excellent quality, sturdy and well made. He plays hard and it has held up extremely well. Still looks brand new. Even the zipper is good quality......it's very smooth which is important as he has to be able to zip it up himself. And its very stylish. He loves wearing it and loves that it has a hood. Liked it so much I bought him and his brother Columbia puffer coats to wear too now that it's getting colder. Even though this is a rain coat, it is still quite thick. He was able to wear a sweater under it and stay warm right up until the snowy weather came this week. And it's so well made that I'm sure it will make an excellent hand-me-down for his younger brother in a couple years. Which makes me happy.I have come to love Columbia so much now I've bought them both their puffers, plus a rain coat, and a puffer for myself, and some boots.

I ordered the XS for my 6 year old and the M for my 8 year old. They both well with plenty of growing room. The velcro on the sleeves makes it easy to adjust the sleeves to the right length if they're too long. My husband and I both have this same jacket in adult sizes and does keep you dry.

A bit thinner than I expected but a stylish jacket.

With this price, the item is value for money. Good for rainy season.

It was ok, I guess my son has broad shoulders, I try other ones, but this one was the best, so I decided to keep it. And it does its job against wind and rain.
