Well done!!!!!!
1001 Questions to ask before you have a Baby , is a great book,a great help for the mothers to be and the new mothers of today , I wish I had this book before I had my four children. There are many books or people that tell you how to do things with your family, but this one gives you many alternatives and choices on how to plan to have your children and then how to educate your children from the beginning, .... I give this book at all the Baby Showers I go...... they love it....... Good job Monica , I also recommend "1001 Questions to ask before you get Married"......well done........and Thank you.....

Questions with no Information
Based on the previous reviews, I thought this book would be a fantastic tool to learn more about all that goes into having a baby. However, it really is just a list of questions. There is no supporting information or suggestions as to where to find the information. I returned it.

I love this series
My husband and I went through the 1000 Questions to Ask Before You Get Married, and really loved going through it. So I was excited when I saw this one existed. They ask a lot of questions that won't come into effect until your child is in adolescents (school, teachers, chores, discipline). Which I didn't think those were necessary to talk about as your considering to have a child. There's also a lot of sections that didn't apply to us, but would be to someone else (single parent, divorced, adoption, etc). There were a lot of good questions though.

Good book
Good book. It was nice to have a book that both my husband and I could read together. It began many good discussions. We both found it very helpful and interesting. Great gift.

Buy this book for every soon-to-be or new parent you know!!
My brother suggested I read this book, even though my four children are ages 17 - 23. Wow - I found myself at various turns smiling, crying, nodding in agreement and saying, "gee, that would have been nice to think about." Many of the pages I found myself saying 'yup, been there, done that,' and in some cases, still doing that (with my teenage children)!! I literally laughed out loud reading page 43's Surface Transportation Policy Project.Interspersed with a good dose of humor, Monica Mendez Leahy has compiled an insightful, practical, MUST READ handbook for parents-to-be, new parents, or those deep in the throes of parenthood. The questions are thought provoking and thorough. She provides real-time statistics, wonderful 'yes/no' charts, and 'true or false' questions on everything from your relationship with your spouse once baby arrives to what criteria are important when selecting a school for your child.I am passing this book on to my daughter and son-in-law, and buying two additional copies to give to other new and expecting parents I know.
