The description says it fits 1.55 - 2 “ dryers But.. I have a hair dryer with an approx 2” diameter and this attachment is too big and just falls right off. But it worked so well I kept it and will eventually buy a new hair dryer to fit it. If my hair dryer had a nozzle diameter of at least 2 1/4” it would fit, plus the base of this attachment stretches a little. Will it stretch to fit a 2.56” diameter? I don’t know. Also, I don’t use it to comb through my hair but to lift my hair at the root and it really helps with volume with very little effort. I hope this helps.
