Comfortable
It was very easy to put together and seems to be very comfortable for the little guy. We haven’t washed it yet but it seems like that wouldn’t be too hard. We would recommend for those co sleeping parents.

Very dangerous space between mat and bumper
Very important to remember loungers are unsafe spaces to put babies to sleep. Never put a lounger inside a basinet or let baby sleep in it unsupervised due to SIDS possibility.Saying so, I have used loungers with my oldest children, I use them in the floor, when I'm unable to hold the baby because I'm doing something else, and baby is awake. I like to use it with an activity center overhead as it soothes the baby at the time the baby is visually stimulated, we use it during talking time, reading time and any other bonding activities. Also used for diaper changes, during park, picnics days where the baby may take a brief nap, but there is a bunch of supervision. We keep loungers out of sight during night time as it may become tempting to use during a fussy night, but baby's safety is first than adults comfort. This lounger is not a whole piece, the cover, bumper and pad are separate and you built it. There is some space between the mattress and the bumper making it extremely dangerous if baby rolls to the side. Overall this design makes me really nervous, and the bumper is pretty fluffy, so it's not useful for chest support during tummy time of a bigger child. I use to have one that was a whole piece, and was the consistency of a boppy pillow, not super fluffy, I think this product if not of the greatest quality and design, and can become a hazard for a baby if the baby is unsupervised. Remember catastrophes can happen in a very short time. For almost $50 at the time of my review I think is something I have returned if possible.

Soft material, well stitched, no certificate
I'm using this lounger as a cat beg. I figure if it's safe for a baby, then it's safe for my pets. This product comes with the side filling and the pad vacuum sealed. I love this because I can feel comfortable it hasn't been exposed to anything dangerous in storage or travel. This means you have to put it together yourself when you get it, but it's something you should be doing anyway as you should wash the cover before putting your baby on it.The company does advertise that this is lab tested and certified safe for babies, showing pictures of the certificate, however no certificate comes with this product stating that, so I'm not sure we can blindly trust that statement. The product had no oder or discoloration upon arrival because it was well packaged. This is the main reason I have not given the product a five star rating - claiming lab tests have been done and showing pictured certificates without providing concrete proof to people who are going to use this for their children is a huge mistake. The cover has a nice and soft velvety feel. The whole lounger is reversible, you can put baby on the printed side, or push the pad through and put baby on the gray side. Both have the same velvety texture. The sides are nice and tall to keep your baby from rolling out, and bottom does untie so you can still use it as your baby grows. The pad baby lays on is not too thin, like I've seen in some loungers. The zippers are hidden well and reinforced with stitching to increase durability. Happy to see this because pulling out the pads to wash this often could easily result in tears around the zippers. This does come with a carrying case, but it's a cheapy pastic one. I have seen loungers that zip up on themselves to be their own carrying case and would prefer this.Overall this is a really nice lounger, and I would feel safe putting my baby in it. I didn't give it five stars because no certificate backs up the claim that it has been lab tested and certified as safe, and I don't feel comfortable taking the company's word for it.As I write this review the price of the product is about $45 with a coupon. I think this is a fair price as I've seen these at Target/Walmart for $60-100. I can recommend this product at this price point, but I will have to see how it holds up with multiple washes before I say it's worth more than that. This is a cute and comfy budget lounger. It's affordable, and not too small. Disappointed by the lack of a certificate to prove it's safe, but because of its packaging I do feel comfortable recommending it.

I would not use this for a human baby but it's good for a fur baby (i.e. pet bed); lumpy center
Infant sleep positioners such as this that include a soft bolster on the sides should NEVER be used for a newborn or young baby due to a risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Consumer Reports has done reviews on products like this because deaths have been proven. Also, the FDA site lists the same warning.Nevertheless, this is good as a pet bed. It comes shrink-wrapped and the pieces expand as shown in my photos. This actually has to be assembled but assembly is easy. I just unzipped the bottom center to insert the base with the round side up toward the top. I then unzipped the entire length along the base and inserted the bolster. Once it is zippered up, the front can be clipped shut or left open. There are also ribbons on the sides that allow me to cinch the bolsters tighter so that they sit up higher and provide a more cozy positioner for a pet (not baby). Note that the material on the reverse side is very plush so I chose that side. Note also that the center insert is lumpy where the foam was creased and I could not get that out. Therefore, I had to put that on the side that faces the "floor."The base feels like a polymer sponge (with the lumpy crease problem) and the bolsters on the side are soft and cushiony. My three cats love this bed but I would never put a baby in it due to the risk of death. Even if the ribbon is undone and the clip holding the sides together is unfastened, I still feel it is unsafe. The cover can be washed but the bolsters should rarely be washed and only if in a garment bag. The sponge base should only be spot cleaned. The current price of $49.99 is on the high side of competitively priced for this. For my fur babies, this is 4 stars; I would have rated it 5 stars for them but the bottom foam is creased and lumpy. For human babies, this is 1 star - hence the 2.5 star rating rounded up to a 3-star rating because I believe this has a purpose but not for the reason it is marketed for.
