Rx: YOU!: The Pharmacist's Survival Guide to Managing Stress & Fitting In Fitness

Waste of time for Pharmacists.
Information detailed in the book is much too surface-level to seriously address stress management and nutrition issues. The same information could be easily found by google or scrolling through a Buzzfeed article and was articulated in near the same way. This book could certainly be a starting point for someone with low health literacy, but holds no value for practicing health care professionals.

BEST BOOK EVER!
As an aspiring pharmacist and pharmacy student reading this book gave me hope for still having and maintaining a balanced life once I begin a career in pharmacy! As a tech and pharmacy student you hear and see horror stories of how when you're a pharmacist you never have time to do anything outside of working wether that be fitness, dieting, having alone time, self care, etc. but Adam makes sure to reassure you all this is possible if you want it bad enough! Don't read this book thinking its going to tell you some magic weight loss plan, tell you about some magic diet, or give you one all fix all solution to having a great and easy life as a pharmacist because if thats what you're looking for this isn't the book for you! Adam provides tips and advice to implement into your everyday life to help with all these things but when it comes down to it you have to want it! As the book states in the title. It all comes down to RX: YOU!

Waste of money
After reading all of the reviews, I was really excited to read this book and learn about managing stress and fitting in fitness into my pharmacy schedule. However, everything in this book was either common sense or advertising Adam's Fit Pharmacist business and The Diet Doc.This book (only 75 pages) was not helpful and complete waste of money ... you are better off reading free credible articles online.

SO EASY TO READ AND APPLY!
Dr. Adam makes the case for uncomplicating the actions necessary to move forward with our health and fitness goals. Having been a therapist and a coach for almost 20 years, I've found that my clients don't necessarily lack motivation, as they often claim, they lack an understanding of motivation! They haven't been taught what's expectable and normal when we pursue change! This book is clear, concise, and broken down in a way that makes taking the next...best...step toward development and discovery fun and simple! We can all get easily bogged down in our thoughts and the stories our thoughts tell. One of my favorite parts of the book is the mindset section where we learn how to be with ourselves in a different, more intelligent and skillful way! Dr. Kori Propst, who wrote that section clearly has a personal practice and understands the mechanisms through which we can facilitate real, lasting, enduring change for an energetic life! Buy this book! :)

For every health care professional!
This guide should undoubtedly be in the hands of all health care professionals. Dr. Martin does an excellent job breaking down health/wellness and stress management for those that work in the health care industry. This field is extremely demanding and sometimes maintaining a healthy mind and body is not a top priority, but this guide does an exceptional job in providing readers with guidance on how to make it, and more importantly keep it, a top priority. Dr. Martin's guide is unparalleled and I can honestly say will transform and improve your mind and body in a way that no other health/wellness guide can. This is the only guide I have read that takes into account the the stresses and responsibilities of health care professionals; a deep understanding of this lifestyle and guidance from someone that lives it on a daily basis makes it that much easier to follow and live by.
