They actually are very durable. I've bought these a few times. Versus Wal-Mart's one brand, dropping both from the top shelf of my fridge filled with jello (fairly heavy), these didn't crack on impact. They are much tougher and tighter seal. You feel confident upon closure that they'll stay closed. 😊 Honestly that's my experience so far of these. 👍

Q: What is the diameter of the lid and the height of the 1oz and 2oz cups?

For 1 oz cups,the diameter of the lid is 45 mm, the height is 31 mm, For 2 oz cups,the diameter of the lid is 62 mm, the height is 30 mm.

Q: Big enough for kid lunch snacks - sliced strawberries, grapes etc?

I purchased the 2oz size for cream cheese in kids lunch with bagels. Based on the 2oz size I don't think I'd recommend the 4oz for school lunch. I am guessing you could fit 3 maybe 4 grapes or 1 maybe 2 sliced med strawberry. Just a guess as I didn't buy the 4oz but wanted to give an idea of what the 4oz size might be. Panera bread cream cheese side is a 2oz but these containers are a little deeper with a less wide mouth and taper a little towards the bottom if comparing shape to Panera cream cheese container.
