The advertisement for this product is exaggerated and did not remove the large hunks of wax in my earholes. It looks so effortless on the commercial, but what happened when I eagerly tried mine out for the first time? . . . JACK SQUAT! I haven't been this disappointed since the Oscars!! Not only does the Twid Fiddler not do the only job it was designed to do, they sent it without the extra replacement heads. I guess that's okay because it's not like anybody would need to replace the head since it don't work! They probably just leave the replacement heads out on purpose to conserve supplies because they know it ain't gonna need it. Well doc, you might be savin' money on supplies, but you're ruining the planet by sending crap to people that don't work! I was so disappointed I chucked it in my closet because I couldn't even look at the darn thing! Now I missed the return deadline so I am taking out my aggression with this review so NOBODY WILL BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Just like the commercial, I was expecting to see lots of ear wax on the wax remover but found very little. After reading the care and instruction manual, there is a statement that says a small amount of ear was should be expected if used properly. The tip is soft and I felt no pain while using. This kit is pretty to look at, easy to use, easy to care for, and easy to store. This product did what it advertised it could do. It removed ear wax. This kit came with six tips which is more than I could ever need in one life time. Great value for the money (huge sale at this time)! I'm glad I purchased this product.

This is probably great for removing large quanties of wax. But it you have that much of a wax problem you really should see a doctor. I bought this to clean my dogs ears but the flexible tip is nowhere near long enough for that. Make one specifically for dog ears and I'll buy it.

We are all told that using Qtip is the worst thing to do. After 50+ years of using Qtips, I decided to try something else. After reading multiple reviews, I bought this product and I was excited to try it. Result: not even the slightest sign of ear wax while using this product for a week. So, I'm unconvinced it is needed and more convinced that Qtips are fine. This is comfortable and easy to use, I simply don't see the benefit that is hyped in all the marketing fluff.

If you are really wanting to try one of these please do it through Amazon and not from TVidler. .I was looking at them on line and considered buying a single unit direct from the vendor because it can be cheaper but did not complete the online order and went ahead and ordered one from Amazon. I have pretty waxy ears and this thing seems to not know how to find the wax that a regular cotton swab finds right after a failed attempt with this.About a week after the one from Amazon arrived I received a package from California with 5 TVidlers, an extra handle and extra heads. I checked Paypal and had 4 transactions including a scheduled re-occuring charge on my account which I quickly cancelled. I reached out to TVidler support to setup a return and was asked to ship the items to Lithuania which will cost even more than the original unauthorized transactions have allready cost me.Buyer beware..

I have severe allergies and one of the issues is gobs of ear wax build up. I have a cousin who is an audiologist beg me to stop using q-tips.Tvidler does not go as deep as the q-tips can, but again, I should not be putting that q-tip down to my ear drum. The Tvidler is the safe answer. (frustrating though it may be)What it does? IF you pay attention to which way the auger runs, it really will take out the bulk of the wax from your ear. I end up having to use it 2 or 3 times in each ear after each shower. I rinse it off in warm water to clean it. I also rotate it so I hit all around my ear canal. Think along the lines of scraping the sides of your mixing bowl with your rubber scraper to get out the last of the cake batter. You can't just put the scraper in the middle and expect that the sides will get scraped. It is a bit of a learning curve, but it does work, and it works without pain, without shoving wax deeper, and without danger to your ear drum.What it does NOT do? It is not likely to remove a hard ball of wax that has been building up for a while.It will not run itself. Much like having to move your q-tip around, you have to move the Tvidler around. Tvidler will not give you that satisfying scratch for the allergy itchiness in your ear canal.It does not clean ears of dogs or cats (their anatomy is different)it will not go too far into your ear (yes, sometimes I wish it did!). The handle is built in a way that keeps it safe for parents to use on kids.Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase. My cousin is happy. I'm sure if I had an ENT (Ear/Nose/Throat, otolaryngologist) THEY would be happy. In truth, the only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I grew up with Q-tips. If I didn't have that comparison (which takes care of the allergy itch) then this would have gotten a 5.Hope this helps someone....

I was having a rumble and pulse in my right ear. Thinking my ear might be in need of a good wax removal (it has happened) I decided to try this highly recommended device. The product is of excellent quality (packaged like an I Phone) and is easy to use. In my case there was no wax removed from my stuffy ear. I’m guessing wax was not my issue…no fault of the product…but should I ever have an earwax issue in the future I feel well armed to face that challenge with a tool who’s logic is impeccable and who's design is elegantly simple to use.
