This is most definitely NOT self-adhesive in the conventional way, it is coated with a hot-melt adhesive so it requires a cool iron to make it stick. No problem getting it to stick, however, I can't comment on its performance or longevity, that remains to be seen over the coming years!

Got this to resell my tent seams. Product is not self sealing as shown in pictures and video . Avoid !!!

I bought some “waterproof” over trousers for motorcycling but the inside seams were not taped. So before using them I decided to buy this tape to give myself some added protection. Easy to apply - I used a warm iron and a thin cloth. I did have the iron a bit hotter than in the description because the cloth was protecting the tape a bit too much for the heat to get through, so I just adjusted the temperature a bit at a time until it seemed to start working. With a bit of patience the tape goes on well. While it’s warm it’s easy to remove if you make a mistake. I held it in place with a bit of sellotape but I moved the sellotape along as I went before applying heat. Time will tell if the tape stays in position during wear and if it works stopping water getting through!

The video implies this is self adhesive, it isn’t

Bought the tape to mend a ripped running jacket .The bonding tape came loose after 15 mins into a run .Bit disappointed as i thought this would do the trick .maybe i should have used thicker tape

This tspe is not self adhesive as stated but needs an iron yo fix. As my boat is plastic I can't use an iron ad it would melt it.

Another inaccurate description this is Hot melt not peel off as video instruction
