Not happy.
1/2 the box was dry & unusable. 1 marker out of 12 is a fluke but then we found 5 more. That's unacceptable. I wish I could give a negative star review.

Good Build Quality, Chiseled Tip Works For A Long Time.
These were on sale & I like the large size and sturdy build, so I tried them. Although the caps have been extremely difficult to remove the first few times (I'm talking 2 people or pliers), they work very well & the tips don't dry up as quickly as other brands. The "permanent" label is in comparison to dry erase. If you need to remove the ink from non-porous surfaces, it's not too difficult to remove with a good chemical cleaner.

Best on the market.
Excellent quality for a marker. A tight fitting cap keeps it from drying out. Works well in temperature extremes. It will mark in 105* heat, and -25* cold. These are highly coveted in the construction trades. They dry quicklyand do not smear after drying, like some markers do. I've been using these for 25 years now.Made in Canada, where they still know how to make durable goods. I recommend them highly.Worth every dime spent on these.

When they are not dry they work great.
I ordered 2 boxes and half of each of the boxes were dry. Usually these are good markers.

A serious permanent marker
Seventeen years after I left the farm I realized I was still using one of these that I had bought at the Augusta Farmer's Coop in Virginia. On the farm we used them to write numbers on the cow's ear tags. Today I use them to date frozen food when I put it in the freezer. When I find a product that is truly exceptional, I buy a bunch and share them with my friends. This is that kind of product.I keep the cap end up when I store it, otherwise it seems to bleed marker fluid into the cap.Keep this out of reach of children. It is a serious permanent marker.

Garbage
This is not the same marker my Dad had bought. He had one of theses left in a shed with temperatures varying from -0 to 100+ it was probably left in the shed during the 80’s. He gave the marker to me and I used it daily in construction for over a year. Then … I bought these and have been through 6 in 3 weeks, and I struggle to make it put out any ink. They are WAY to expensive! Not worth even 10 cents each. The Dixon name is all they have.

No good
DO NOT BUY THESE. Waste of money. All but one or two of them were dried out. The remaining ones dried out a few days later. These markers used to be better. Something has changed and now they are horrible. Won’t buy again.
