The Rescue (Guardians of Ga'Hoole #3) (Volume 3)

Lasky continues to keep readers interested in an unassuming band of owls, who have finally reached the Great G'Hoole tree. Their training at G'Hoole has prepared each one of them with the necessary skills needed to attempt the rescue of their beloved teacher. I thought I would be tired of the band by the third book, but Lasky's imagination, and writing ability to kept me intrigued. Her use of phrases like "staying up until first dark," (owls keep night hours), the discovery of "flecks" gave me the owls' point of view for the story too.Since I listened to the book on CD I also want to say the the reader for the book kept my interest too. She managed several voice characters and made the story very believable.Another great book! I'm ready to listen to book 4.
