Portable Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto, 7" IPS Touch Screen Multimedia Player, Bluetooth, Mirror Link, FM, Siri/Google Assistant, TF Card/USB/AUX Car Radio Receiver

I bought this unit at the end of Jan of 2022. Now at the beginning of June 2022, the touch screen has stopped working. The audio output also stopped working.It's pretty much useless now.After doing some searching, apparently it has a one year warranty.I have contacted the seller on Amazon. I will post an update if I hear back from the seller and see what they end up doing.But for now, this device seems like it's pretty poor quality.From the other reviews, the screen seems like it's pretty poor quality.UPDATE:I contacted the seller on 6/2/2022. They responded the following day and offered to send me a new one.I received a new unit on 6/14/2022. The new one works for now. I hope it lasts longer than 6 months.I think the touchscreen is sensitive to heat. Obviously that is bad for and item that's meant to be kept in a car, on the dash where it can get very hot.I keep my car in a covered garage, but once I had to park my car on the street for a week, that's when the screen failed.Upgrading my rating to 3 stars since the seller stood by the warranty.I will revise my review if the device fails or keeps working after 6 months.

Update, customer service reached out. It appears there must be a quality issue and they sent me another. For having an old car this unit is a must for car play and general convenience. 3 star product so far with a 5 star customer service. 4 overallOriginalThis product worked great but the black tape and adhesive didn’t hold up and the outer screen was sagging when outside temp was 46 degrees Fahrenheit. Glue does not hold and I can’t return or exchange past 30 days. 😞

I am mostly very pleased with this wireless CarPlay unit. Setup was easy, just the initial Bluetooth connection, then it handles all the wifi set up itself. The screen is bright and the touch capabilities are responsive. It was the only way to add CarPlay to our 8 year old Accord.Some criticisms - from appearances sake, it would be better to have the cable connections on the back of the unit instead of sticking out the side, which looks messy.Also the suction cup on the stand that came with it did not work for me. But I purchases a separate CD slot mount that worked perfectly. Similarly the cable clips that came with it would not stick to anything, but that was a minor problem.All in all, a worthwhile purchase if you can't install a CarPlay head unit, or just want something cheaper and easier to install.

Update: I am adjusting my rating after I contacted the seller and they sent me an updated unit that has worked great in the heat so far. No issues with the screen, the wireless bluetooth connects faster and I like the mount better. thanks for standing behind your product.old (only had the unit for 5 months, highest temp has been about 90 degrees. Got in the truck one morning and the glass screen was hanging by the wires that connect it to the main unit. I tried to glue it back on at the edges but the touch screen is no longer active so I now have a $300 small screen. How are these units rated so high if they can not even handle mild heat in Missouri.)

Just like other reviews, my screen also fell off after 60 days. It fell off when I was driving on a highway, and I can do nothing about it. Later I used some tapes to stick it back, but the touchscreen stopped working, which means now I only have a screen that doesn't respond to my touch anymore, making itself useless now.

its a decent system and definitely does what it says it will. just a little bulky with the mount. So i had to rig my own system of a magnet mount. if it was a little thinner and plugs behind the screen not on the side, it would be a 5 star for the price.

when I connected the AUX cord from my car to the Koodea device there was a constant buzzing. I used the cord Koodea provided as well as my own, both cords had a buzzing. The FM transmitter hardly worked. The speakers on the device were fine. The mic for calling was good. The touch screen was good. If there is a buzzing on every audio I do, calls, podcasts, music then the device is pointless for me.

Connected fine, was great to have a low cost option for Android Auto, in my car. The touchscreen works, but can be a bit unresponsive, at times. Occasionally would take a while to connect to my phone.Those were all very minor issues that I was ok with. The problem began, when the temperature in Arizona got to 80 degrees, in March. I came out to the car to find the glue had let loose and the touchscreen had fallen off the device, and was on the floor. I would pass this product by, if the temperature gets above 80 degrees, in your area.
