I love the appearance and the quality. This is a wonderful teaching toy for development of fine motor skills. It also brings productive nature into the teaching moments. This is a toy to be cherished, not scattered on the floor to be forgotten. Special kudos to those at Kookaroo who work with the wood; all components are finished very well!

Bought this as a gift for our Grandson and he is in love with it. He plays with this toy longer than any of his others. The wood is exceptionally well made - I was very impressed.The entire set is so cute and will keep him entertained while teaching motor skills for hours.You will not be disappointed - I highly recommend !

It is a very well made product. The wood is finished nicely no tear outs, gouges, or dents on the corners of the comb pieces. Everything is sanded very smooth and given a nice finish that brings out the wood grain. The wooden tongs are nice and springy and seem robust enough to be handled by the child. The bees are very cute. However, I could see a child being able to plug off the wings so I would definitely supervise the play. My wife and I are actually going to use this toy as a decoration and get it down when our friends with small children come over.

The bee playset is beautifully made and the little bees are so cute. I bought this to use with my grandchildren. As a former preschool teacher and homeschool mom and now a grandmother I look for toys that are quality make out of natural materials and have lots of imaginative play value. This product checks all my boxes and is highly recommended

I created a centerpiece out of this sweet little beehive set, and it sits atop my dining room table. When my young granddaughters come over, they get to play with it for as long as they want to, which generally isn’t too long, but they do enjoy using the tongs to grab and move the bees, and we occasionally make up little bee games. To be honest, the girls seem to get a kick out of just looking at this set, and I’m hoping it will become one of those things I have around my house that they will remember about me when I’m long gone. One of the cells is not as deep as the others, so there isn’t as much room for the bee, and if the cell is set upright, the bee tends to fall out, but that’s no biggie. As of yet, I haven’t utilized the beehive (or honey jar, or whatever it is), but I plan to put something in it eventually that can be used for play. In my opinion, the set is a bit expensive, but I did make use of a $10 coupon that was offered at the time. I do like this set, but the coupon helped sway me to purchase this item, because otherwise I would not have.
