While I know that there are not many sock manufacturers left in the USA, I do think a responsible company specifies the country of manufacture on the box or accompanying paper insert. That Otis chooses not to do this is a significant mark against them and I would not reorder (along with the fact that I prefer a lighter weight all cotton sock that doesn't interfere with the comfort of my shoes as these do.

Q: Will these fit larger calves, or just chicken sized legs?

6 ft 245 lbs. Fits my legs fine and I have strong legs.

Q: How long do they take to dry after being washed? I want to know for use when traveling.

I did wash them by hand once, but I didn't pay attention to how long they took to dry. In a normal dryer they dry more quickly than my other Sox. Maybe that doesn't help, but these are great socks.
