Unless you need a 140W charger, buy this one for ALL your needs!
I moved away from USB A chargers for charging my devices. I only have 2 though. An iPhone and an M2 iPad Pro. In switching, I wanted a charger which was powerful: I consider 100W to be the golden standard, while having a degree of futureproofing- a feature which is ubiquitous in my decision making and purchases. I'm not going to give you a very detailed and technical review. This charger is excellent. Not only that but it suits my needs perfectly as I am sure it will suit yours as well. If you have a device that uses USB-C charging, buy this charger. Whether the device uses as little as 15W or 25W, get it. What you need to remember is this 100W is not going to damage your device which uses little wattage. USB-C devices negotiate the power rating of your device so you are safe. When you take the charger out of its packaging, the first thing you notice is the heft and it gives an impression of a solid, well built device which is not cheap. I do not have any other USB-C charging brick to compare it to, other than the 20W charger which came with the iPad Pro. The AOHI 100W charger also comes with a 100W rated USB-C cable, which has a LED display on the USB-C connector jacket or folded strain relief. It is at the connector which plugs into the device you're charging. It is counterintuitive to pluck the connector with the LED display, into the charger. I have had my charger since the 22nd of December, 2022. From then till now, I have had no problems with it or the cable with the LED wattage indicator. Some people indicated in their reviews that after a mere couple of days, the LED indicator stopped working, or the frame of the LED broke off,f or the cable stoped working. I experienced none of these issues. Seven weeks after, it's going strong and working superbly. Special Note: this cable does not seem to pass data. My M2 iPad Pro does not show in Finder, Photos or any other app. It's just a charging cable. If you have a laptop that has a USB-C cable you can definitely get rid of whatever brick you had and replace it with this. And even if you just have phones or tablets now, you can future proof a bit by buying this wall charger. If you treat it well, it will last and you can use it for future devices you will purchase. The only thing that I would have really enjoyed is if the LED colours which indicate the different states of charging, worked for my iPad Pro. Sure it cycles through yellow, green and blue while my iPhone is connected but when the iPad is charging, from low battery to 100% charge, the charger remains on yellow. However, it adjusts the charging though. As I am writing this, the charging went from 38-35 watts and while the battery is 94% I am seeing 10W with the display on and a steady 6 with the display turned off. The charger does not get warm. The iPad doesn't either. You want a safe, powerful, reliable charger for your electronic device? Do like me and buy the AOHI 100W USB-C charger.

A well-designed and impressive little device
When I finally became tired of waiting for my MacBook Air to finish charging I knew it was time to replace my current Apple standard charger with a newer fast charger. I felt there were several features that it had to have. It had to be small, durable and light weight. It had to use GaN+ technology. It had to have fast charging. It had to have at least USB C ports so I could charge my laptop and iPhone at the same time. It had to be above 65W. It had to be compatible with Apple products. After doing some research on the 100W chargers from different companies I decided to purchase the one from Aohi because it did everything on my list plus had some exclusive features DESIGN When I unboxed the charger I was surprised to see that it was smaller than I thought it would be. It looks and feels solidly built. The front of the charger has a black metal open mesh design which helps to dissipate heat. The charger also has a folding plug so you don’t have to worry bending the prongs when you throw it in your backpack. EXCLUSIVE FEATURES The charger has an LED that changes color depending on how it’s charging. It pulses Yellow when it’s fast charging (Power Delivery). Blue indicates standard charging. Green means it’s trickle charging. This status light makes it easy to tell if the device is fully charged from across the room. When it turns Blue you’re good to go. The included USB C cable is braided nylon and is slightly thicker than a standard cable. It has a built in E-Marker chip to regulate voltage during fast charging. It also has a built-in LED display to monitor real-time power and charging. It displays the watts it’s outputting and when it’s charging in PD mode. It’s a nice feature while giving some extra assurance that everything is working as expected. If you need to charge an iPhone you would need a USB to lightning cable or adapter capable of supporting fast charging. You can use the Apple USB to Lightning cable that came with your iPhone since it’s also fast charging compatible. CHARGING SPEEDS Charging speeds are fast. When you are charging two devices it will share the 100W between the two devices. When you are charging two devices the maximum it can support simultaneously is 65W and 30W. It will fast charge a device up to about 85% and then automatically switch to standard charge. Once it charges to 100% it will switch to trickle charge. So you don’t have to worry about it overcharging. The charger itself does get a little bit hotter when you are charging two devices I tested different combinations of my iPhone 13 Pro, iPad Pro 11” and MacBook Air. After a few days of testing the average charging speed is about 1% charge per minute when it’s in fast charging mode. Once the battery reaches 80% and switches to standard charging mode the speed slows down to about 2% per minute PRICING The normal price is $85.99 but if you get it with the Amazon clickable coupon like I did it’s an even better bargain especially with the included LED display cable. This charger will be a great addition to your computer needs and help to streamline what you have to carry when on the go. So far, I am pleased with my purchase.

My favorite do it all charger!
I have a few of these magcube chargers and the youth version as well. The differnce is that the magcube has two 140 ports while the youth version has one 140 and one 100 port. The magcube is an upgraded version from the youth version. It has a dual core circuit vs a single one, larger master pi chip x 4 vs 1, and can charge 140 watts longer than 30 mins constantly. I had one of the youth chargers that kept giving me problems with random reconnections during charing. It would just restart the cycle. I got with the manufacturer and provided some videos to help them look at their latest batch for issues. I was issued a replacement at no cost and the new charger does not restart. I would definitely recommend picking the magcube over the youth version if you want an overall better charger. I tested both on my phones + laptops and I have to say I was a bit surprised that the magcube actually charged faster. This is definitely my favorite do it all charger! The build quality is great as well and has those color changing indicators that are handy with good brightness. I use high quality 240 watt usb c cables from ugreen and iniu. They work fantastic with this charger.

Powerful and solid
Wow just wow! A true GAN charger. Solid, durable and a heck of a replacement for the apple power block because this one can support two PD usb c connections at once at 140W ss well as an additonal usb 2/3 device. It also can auto determine the correct voltage to use for various other usb c PD based devices which also makes this awesome ans super enticing. This thing is very well build, very solid and can feel it's weight just by holding it. It's been tested thoroughly with various loads and it works perfectly and I'm more than thrilled with this purchase.

Fast charger
I've had this since March 2024 and the item works great but there's some caveats. For one, it's heavy. Not so bad but because of it's weight, it falls off a lot of outlets that can't support it. I'd had to invest in a separate extension cord that can support or otherwise it just falls. I think Anker has a made a version where the plugs are on the bottom instead of the side to help counter the weight problem. And because it's so big it doesn't fit in tight places, like behind a dresser or something else. Another reason for the extension cord. My next problem is that after about 6 months or so, the prongs no longer lift up together. Not a huge deal since they both lift up and down but it feels flimsy now and concerned of it eventually falling off. I'm not sure why they can't place the prongs on the side. Would make it flat on the wall and support much better. Maybe it's something they can't do but it would be nice. This is me nitpicking now but because of it's color, it gets dirty easily. I only put in the backpack but things still rub off on it. Whatever I guess. That being said, this thing is fast! I also carry their portable batter packs, a 40,000 mah and it charges superfast. This is the one thing I charge by itself to reach it's full charging capability. On my other items I charge my iPad, iPhone and watch at the same time and it doesn't skip a beat. Awesome charger if you're looking for high speed and not spend Anker pricing.

Should you get this over its competators.... YES!
I buy a lot of technology. And I mean a lot! From power Banks to cell phones to watches to well pretty much anything and I need a plug that can keep up with a lot of my high-yield items such as my tablet and many of my other charging needs. So what sets this one apart from other companies especially it's major competitors? Well this version, by the way this is the 140 primary version not the 140 youth version which is a little bit different. The youth version is maxed out at 140W total whereas this one can do 140W PER PLUG. So that's what sets it apart from its competitors which can also only do 140w in total for the entire plug. This device also uses very modernized gallium nitride technology so that's what allows high power in such a small package. Once again very similar to its competitors, you know who they are, why is this one much better? Well for starters it's actually surprisingly light it's half the size of your MacBook charger yet can charge your MacBook your phone and one additional items such as your watch or your earbuds all at the same time. Heck it doesn't even have to be a macbook it can be your iPad and your MacBook and so on. But by the way if you wonder why I'm using Apple products is because that seems to be the industry standard that everyone compares too. I use OnePlus products exclusively so this review is not meant for me since I have the product and I love this thing. This thing is small enough to fit in your pocket and can pretty much charge whatever you plug it into whenever you need it so long as you have the right cable which this company can provide if you end up getting any more of their products. Was that out of the way obviously as you can see this is an American only plug so you'd have to get an adapter that can go internationally or you can actually go directly to the aohi website and get a specific version for the country that you're either going to or plan on being in for a while which is kind of neat. I've used this thing to charge a lot of heavy use an items and I have not been disappointed. In fact I suggested this to a buddy of mine who works in the film industry and he absolutely loves this product. So much so that he actually bought like six of them to use in each room he works from. To me that's crazy but that's not an endorsement or anything like that I'm just marking that down this information. Yes above is a lot of words to say this product is absolutely worth the money spent on it. I have had no issues with this product in the time I've owned it I have charged hundreds of times and not once have I ever had a single issue with anything plugged in or any compatibility of any products. It also even supports a lot of the fast charging capabilities, like with the company OnePlus it supposrs the SUPERVOOC charging and gets my phone from like 5% to 100 in like 45 minutes which is insane! If you're looking for a gift for someone who's a heavy technology user this is definitely a really good product to get!
