This Zoo is Not for You

I got this book while looking for something else when it came up as a suggestion and am so glad I did. Reading this book out loud to kiddos engaged them in all sorts of Q&A and got the kids to respond to feelings. A fun read and the pictures are perfect to look at. A great way to expand on so many levels when reading with just one child or more.

We had this book brought for our 3 year old son for his birthday and we love it so much we buy it as birthday gifts for his friends. It's great fun to read as you can do different voices for each animal ( not to toot my own horn but I nail the snooty panda voice). My son thinks the monkeys throwing poo are just hysterical and yet he seems genuinely concerned for the platypus when the other animals have made him sad. It's got a really lovely message that encourages acceptance and kindness of others, even if they seem different. It's one of the first books my son really seemed to understand the sentimental message behind the fun words and lovely pictures.Wins all round... makes bedtimes a lot of fun!

Great book!

Bought as a gift and was a huge success. Gets re read ad infinitum

It wasnt clear that this was a used library book. The spine was in poor condition. It was supposed to be a gift so it has to go back.
