It was just ok and only lasted a few weeks
We had one of these from 5 or 6 years ago (same brand and everything). Our first dog loved it and we would bring it out a few times a week to entertain him. When we got our new puppy, he was a bit more rough with it and eventually chewed the rubber knobs off. We liked it so much we decided to look for another one for those nights when throwing a rope bone in the house just wasn't enough to entertain our puppy. We got it in the mail no problem. My main complaint is that it didn't want to run for very long before the batteries ran out, and it was a bit of a pain to change the batteries (you have to take out the three small screws holding it together...which I liked because it was safer and the dogs couldn't get it apart and chew on the batteries, but when you are doing this every other day, it turns into a hassle). It never really ran the same as our first one...it was slower and didn't bounce as much. There was also the problem of the knobs again, but he wasn't chewing off the rubber outside part...there is a harder plastic inside part for the knobs and they are just glued in place. With minimal chewing, the plastic part would pop out and get loose inside the ball (not an issue with our first one). You would hear it rattle around until finally it would get caught up in the moving parts and if you didn't catch it right away it would burn up the motor. We never let our puppy play with this unattended, so I always caught it right away, but then it meant taking the toy apart again (three small screws, etc) and this was also happening about every other day. So all in all, I was taking it apart almost every day for one reason or another. So, I'm not sure if maybe the quality is going down over the years or what, but it only lasted a few weeks before I got tired of taking it apart and changing batteries (which also gets expensive since it takes 4 AA batteries to run).

Lasted 5 minutes.
The media could not be loaded. This just arrived. Two of my dogs were afraid of it, and the other one loved it...for the 5 minutes it took for her to destroy it. She's a french bulldog, about 30 lbs - and honestly is NOT my destructive dog and is usually protective of any ball-type toy. I was really happy with it at first - she was really engaged and loved chasing it around, but honestly, I wouldn't even recommend this for small children because of how easily she pulled it apart and the number of small parts.UPDATE!Okay I have to update this because it's hilarious. I got about another day out of this ball because for some reason my dog just wanted to sit with it and like...be friends, or something. I actually changed the batteries for her so she could just hang out with her new ball friend. All the nubby things are gone and i can't turn it on or off...but please see the video. She is so happy. I wish there was a version of this that actually stayed intact. It was her favorite toy for about a total of 30 minutes. I would probably buy it again just because i love my dog and she found her weird dysfunctional soulmate. Stupid cheap toys...I really wish this was better made because it would have been her #1 boo.

Starr my Boxer loved it.....Till
My boxer just loved this, although I DID read most to ALL reviews I still wanted to get it. Although IT DOES have problems WHICH I do believe the maker and designer SHOULD FIX and send ALL those which have gotten this FUN, FUN, dog toy a NEW ONE. As a good sign of promise. DO NOT allow your pet play with this toy alone!!!!!!problems with this toy are: nipples which make it bounce around come unglued from the inside, should be made from a harder plastic that's NOT CHEWABLE. Not have a insert to the nipples which firms up the outter nipples but they still pop out and then gets stuck inside stopping the movement of the toy.Battery's run out within 10 min. of use.Switch to turn it on and off either breaks off from the inside after one of the inside nipples come unglued, or just does NOT turn the toy on after you change batteries.Besides that IF THEY FIX THESE problems they would have a great toy for pets..!!!! I plan to attempt to repair it so my girl can still have fun with in.DO NOT ALLOW YOUR PETS TO PLAY WITH ALONE, OR HAVE ON THE FLOOR WHEN ITS OFF. THEY WILL STILL CHEW ON IT ..........

Fun for Dog.... WARNING NOT A CHEW TOY
This is the best toy ever. My Boston loves it! My boxer that doesn't play with toys even plays with it. We had so much fun watching them run around the house.Warning for anyone with a dog that likes to chew. If they chew on the end pieces, there is a little plastic piece that gets dislodged and ends up inside the toy. This will stop the Bumble Ball from its actions and become unusable. You can take it apart and put it back again, but the problem will return. If your dog is NOT a chewer, this is a fantastic toy for them. My Boston is a chewer and can only be allowed limited time with the toy and only while supervised. The company was great with the first one (which lasted 24 hours). The second one we received did the same thing but we were able to fix it.This would be great for distraction training or as a fun once in awhile toy. Since it does have the rubber nubs on the end the dog really wants to chew and grab it.
