Clear and concise
I received math no problem multiplication and division as part as a campaign. My son is not reaching his expected grades at school So I’m really hoping the work we have done in this book will help support him with his learning and also give him confidence to do math. The book itself is really good quality and is colourful which was good as it really helped to engage my son in his learning! The questions and examples are really clearly laid out and are easy to understand what’s been asked and how to work out the answer. My son really enjoyed the characters within the questions especially oak as she is in a wheelchair, the characters were very inclusive. There are also the answers in the back of the book so that all answers can be double checked. It was really fun to work on the book with my son we used counters to came it come to life even though they are not needed. Great for my nearly 7 year old
I received this book for free but this is an honest review. My son is in Y2 and is fairly competent with maths for his age. However, he was not confident. He kind of lost that confidence during lockdown and especially recently as we had an extended Christmas holiday due to covid. He's going to an after-school maths club but I struggled to think of how to keep up maths at home. This has helped as he can sit down and do a couple of questions at leisure.I think this was a really well thought out book. The layout and colour is great. I like the amount of space. He's leafed through the book picking and choosing tasks which is at odds with how I'd choose to do the activities! I'd do them in order but he's been happy and calling me in to see when he's got something right. He's not always got the answer correctly and then I've gotten practical things out to explain answers as best I can.He doesn't always want to do the book because there is so much to compete for his attention (devices!) so I do have to ask him to do it but that's fine and certainly no reflection on the book. He does between 10 and 20 minutes at a time. I have a 3 year old and I'd certainly try her with the books as she gets older as they have ones for different ages. I'll try to get her to do them in order!I'd recommend these for maintaining confidence in maths over school holidays and with Easter coming up, definitely a good time to get one!

A post pandemic helping hand
Our daughter is in year 3 and after 2 years of battling home schooling and broken learning, it's fair to say that her maths had suffered more than other subjects. She had lost a bit confidence and in turn lost her desire to go the extra mile.We have just completed the multiplication and division book and have been really impressed. The book is well laid out, colourful and seems to be pitched at just the right level. Not too easy but enough of a challenge, with helpful examples along the way.Our little girl says she had enjoyed working through the questions and that the colour and characters made it more fun than just a sheet full of sums. She also said that it has helped her confidence with answering questions in class. For the first time in a long time she has been happy to do maths out of school and is genuinely proud of herself when she gets things right. We will certainly be buying more of the set for her to work through and have answered all questions in pencil so our younger son can have a go too when the time comes.I received this book free but it is an honest review.

Great starter workbook
This is a great general workbook, covers all the times tables in a basic with a general overview. My daughter loved working through the questions for the times table she has learnt. As she has only learnt 2's, 3's, 5's and 10's she couldn't do much of the book, and did find there wasn't a lot of questions/tasks for each times table.I think once she knows all of them she will be able to do a lot more of the book and get a lot more out of it. We have done the tasks on paper so she can revisit them as practice.Great book for children who know all their times tables.

lovely book
my daughter is 8,she loves doing these books she will sit for hours doing them with me pretending to be the teacher and ticking them, so when we was given this to try it was perfect, the front cover is bright and does what it says on the tin , when you start doing the book the words are lovely and big and easy to understand there's not too much to do on each page and we'll laid out, every other page has lovely little illustrations that she liked. she did ask why the one boy had his mouth open all the time but that's coming from her mouth , the answers are at the back if you get a bit stuck but we found that we didn't need , I would sat this book is as good if not better then other maths books
