This can be a great book for everything a individual would have to be know when it comes to goats. It's composed in such a way that somebody beginning out in this would have a common understanding of what it takes to raise goats. I like how the creator, Mrs. Martin, composes with affectability approximately the subject of goat meat, realizing that usually a troublesome subject for a few individuals. The glossary at the conclusion of the book is exceptionally accommodating. I too learned a part of things like there are over 200 breeds of goat! This makes a pleasant reference book as well.

I haven’t read the book cover to cover, but the parts I have read are not well written or particularly helpful. There must be better options.

I ordered a couple different books on the subject of raising goats. This one does contain a lot of information but I find it poorly written and poorly structured. It seems to jump back and forth quite a bit. Thankfully the other book was much easier to follow.

Was super pumped about reading this book (and the couple of others I ordered) so i could learn how to raise some goats and chickens and get out of the craziness that is this city that I live in . . . of course they were stolen off of my porch. When they said farming and rasining animals would be difficult, I didnt realize they meant even getting the information.

This book is poorly organized and not written well at all. It needs a team of editors to clean it up and have it make sense. It should never have been published in this condition.

Now that I read this guide I feel much more confident with my decision to purchase a heard of my own. In particular I liked how it describes the different breeds, what makes them different and how to choose what breed is best for me. It helped me pick a breed of choice. The only thing I wish it had more pics, but it includes a lot of extra contents (tips, nutritional advice, original recipes and images as well) you can find in their website and socials. I recommend it!
