The box is scratched. The bow is stained in the black color at the top.
However, I bought it as a gift for the birthday of my grandson... I wouldn't be happy with such a gift...And you?

Does not work
I bought this as a gift. Unfortunately by the time the birthday came and we tried it, it was past the return window. $30 down the drain and a really disappointed 8 year old. Don’t buy.

Started smoking after first use
My son purchased this and LOVES it. Unfortunately is has to be kept outside because after the first use my son plugged it back to charge and it started smoking. We now keep it outside and charge it outside to avoid it burning the house down.UPDATE: I had to return the boat because it completely stopped working after the third time it was used.

DO NOT BUY. STARTED SMOKING FROM CHARGING HOLE AFTER FIRST USE!
Started smoking and smelling like fire near charging plug after first use (smoke started coming out of the charging hole). Do not buy because now we can no longer charge the boat since the insides are fried.
