Edgar Cayce on Angels, Archangels, and the Unseen Forces

Clear and easy to understand
This is one of the best books on angels that you'll probably ever find. I'm a big fan of Edgar Cayce but reading his own words is a little confusing at times. Thank goodness there are people like Robert J. Grant to interpret Cayce's works for us. This book is truly uplifting. The first chapter starts out with We Are Not Alone. Using people who have had near-death experiences to show us what it's like on the other side, coupled with Cayce's work really makes this book a cut above other angel books. Cayce proved himself with his medical cures and so I feel that his work really comes from a higher place. So here are the chapters laid out:1. We are not along2. Chosen by an angel3. The archangel Michael4. The Lord of Karma5. The Angel Hierarchy6. Satan and his fallen angels7. The angelic promise8. the book of Revelation and the angels within9. our beloved guardian angelsGrant really does his research with this book and it's almost like reading a textbook, (though hardly dry and boring) what angels are, what they do, and who Adam was. When Adam saw the plight of his fellow angels who'd lost themselves in the material world, he decided that he would follow the same path to show his brothers and sisters a way out. He took 144,000 fellow angels with him and they all started reincarnating, with Jesus being the last incarnation, where he made it all the way back home to God.Great job of researching, and a fascinating read.

Angels Edgar Cayce
You must get past the opening chapter when the author uses some questionable A + B = C ( just because). However, having said that- I cannot recommend this book highly enough. There are life concepts in this book that I have never considered and have changed my life dramatically. The take away--- We are one with God, our desires and words have the power to create for good or for evil. Were mankind to channel his desires away from the self-self-materialistic way- the world our true desires would create would be heaven on earth. As we all have the power to create, we all have the responsibility not to create evil. Read the book, it is time well spent and may even make a difference. It did for me.

A hard read but very interesting
The book is totally different than what I thought it would be. I had no idea who Edgar Cayce was but have since researched him. It helped me to better understand the book and how it is presented. The author (Grant) cites the many "visions and readings" (not sure that is the correct term to use) of Edgar Cayce and his son, and uses their experiences and quotes from the Bible to support his statements. It is a very slow read because there is so much to absorb. You almost have to study it. It is not a fluffy discussion of Angels.

The Angelic Realm and Our Place in the Universe
Edgar Cayce's work played a major role in helping me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually during the onset of a chronic illness 30 years ago. I ate a diet I found prescribed in the Edgar Cayce Remedies book and, as suggested in his other books about our many lives as evolving beings, I could understand the challenges I was facing as 'stepping stones' to a a better life. So I have read as much I could of Cayce's work. During times of crisis, it is easier to be in touch with the reality of the spiritual realms and also to see oneself as a soul. The profound nature of this book is that Grant is able to take the reader to such an understanding during normal times.

Answered many questions I had.
It was very interesting, and answered many of my questions about man being on the earth long before the time of Adam, and why Adam was said to be the first man, although we know that man goes back a lot farther in history than the Bible says. He was the first man that God made, the first modern man. And answered how the different races began. A very informative book, as well as inspirational. I'd read the Book of Enoch and had questions that differed than the Bible, and this helped with those as well.Anyone looking for answers should read it.

About Angels
I've been witnessing seeing the 444's for over ten years and other matching three-digit numbers for over one year. A friend of mine told me that there was a book about these types of number sequences. It's called Angel Numbers 101 by Doreen Virtue of which I also purchased and refer to daily. I purchased this book to find out if Edgar Cayce also mentions angel numbers. I haven't read it yet, so I will have to get back to this review

Worth Reading More Than Once
This book is even better than I'd hoped for. It's far more than stories of people who have returned from "the other side." Robert Grant did a wonderful job explaining many of Edgar Cayce's readings, but he didn't stop there; not by a long shot. Since so many folks did such a wonderful job reviewing this book, I won't embarrass myself by carrying on about how wonderful this book is. But, I just have to say, if you're into Angels, Archangels, and Unseen Forces, you are going to love this book!

A simple and humble human being, blessed by God! A Prophet in his time.
WOW....I wish I had known this man....but feel as though I do. History repeats itself and it did so with Cayce, in that so many did not listen or take him seriously.....even when his predictions were proven true. It amazes me that, even though he was given this incredible gift.....that still lives on.....he remained humble and true to himself and that he often doubted his gifts and talents simply because he did not have a formal education and was shunned by the medical profession. I would definitely recommend this and other books on Cayce. They fill the sould with a sense of peace.

Interesting
Interesting book on the interaction of angels with people. Some of the stories seem incredible but I took them with an open mind as the experiences of other people rather than trying to rationalise them away. It certainly gives another angle on the subject and makes such interaction seem possible for most people

Different but interesting.
I have a lot of books about Edgar Cayce, but this one was a little different. You have to read it with a very open mind, but it is compelling, and a real page turner. Some of the suggestions make you think you are reading a fictional book at times, however, if you give it a chance it is interesting.

Any book about Edgar Cayce is good to read however I found this one
Any book about Edgar Cayce is good to read however I found this one, although informative, a bit dry. It goes into quite a bit of detail about the history of angels, their names and various duties. Nevertheless it is accurate and has some real gems of knowledge within it. I do not regret reading it.

Good book---Read it in a day --not as good as some of the books by Edgar Cayce's writers but a worth while read, Sometimes you have to read all the books and in there is maybe one or two chapters that makes it all make sense---its just about finding those two chapters. This book is not complicated as some of his books are--easy to understand
