addi Circular Turbo Rocket Lace Skacel Blue Cord 32 inch (80cm) Size US 05 (3.75mm)

Impressive needles.
Knits like a hot knife through warm butter. And the price was more competitive than most other Addie needles I’ve seen for sale. Also, this may sound strange but I bought these 24” circular for knitting socks in the round using the Magic Loop technique. “But 24” is too short for Magic Loop!”, some might say. But honestly, these bad boys knit Magic Loop socks easier and faster than my 40” Chiaogoo’s. There are two important differences with these Addi needles that, I believe, make this possible: 1) the cord is incredibly flexible but still thick enough to create an *almost* seem less join with the needle, and 2) the needle surface is so incredibly smooth that the stitches just glide over them. This translates to no need to pull on the needles or fabric in order to use Magic Loop. I don’t think I’d recommend using a 24” needle for Magic Loop socks with any other brand. The reason I opted for 24” circulars for Magic Loop socks was that my 40” circulars left me with an unwieldy amount of extra cord. I was wasting a lot of time with moving the stitches across what felt like an ocean of cord. Then, once I would have the stitches situated on their respective needles, I would have to wrangle the excess cord into submission so that they would stay below my needles while knitting. Now, 24” may be an extreme considering how many intermediary options there are in between those two measurements, but these ones were on sale so… *shrug*TL; DR: these 24” addi needles are amazing and can even be used with Magic loop!

Smooth & steady
These addi circulars are great! I got size 8 and 32” and they’re super good for knitting my socks (with magic loop technique) with worsted weight wool. They’re nice and smooth, lightweight and easy to use. I’m ordering 40” because it seems like I could use a bit more slack.I’m a little worried about the plastic cord breaking but so far, they’re perfect and I love that addi offers a lifetime guarantee.

Very well-made
This item changed my attitude toward circular needles. They had just been a necessary evil to complete some projects. I would say this needle is engineered rather than manufactured. It is light but sturdy. It's easy to use. This is definitely the brand I'll choose the next time I need to go circular.

LOVE these!
I bought these to replace the first pair of size three circulars I originally purchased (different brand) for one of my current projects. They were close in color to the dark yarn I was using which was challenging enough, but the tips also weren’t sharp enough to get in the stitches and on one side, the plastic cord had a small 1mm gap where the cord joined with the metal needle and my yarn kept getting stuck in it. They were impossible to work with and feeling exceedingly frustrated, I took to Amazon to find a better replacement. I’ve heard many wonderful things about Addi needles, so I decided to give these a try. I absolutely LIVE them. The plastic cord doesn’t get twisted up with itself and seamlessly joins with the metal needles, they’re pointy enough to get in the stitches without being so sharp you might accidentally hurt yourself on them, and the yarn glides along the needles so smoothly that I’ve found I’m knitting faster than I ever have in my life! These are a finely crafted and high quality product and absolutely a pleasure to work with, and they feel so nice in my hands I don’t want to put them down. Highly, highly recommend.

Super slick - super sick!!! :-) :-)
Well this is not Jason :-) but I'm the knitter. This was kind of a test the waters purchase, and lo and behold I loved these so much that I bit the bullet and ordered the full set of long lace clicks ($127). The needles themselves seem to be very sturdy, high quality, nice and slick which is great if you're a tight knitter like me or just want faster results. I really like the longer needles as it is easier to manipulate tight stitches, and the long cable is perfect for magic loop. I know a few reviewers have commented on less than seamless joins. I have noticed that when my stitches get caught on the base of the needle, it is usually because I am doing magic loop and they got pulled a little tight at the end until they were too small to slide onto the needle without some tugging. That is just my experience. And yes, the very flexible blue cord can definitely kink, but you just have to be careful with it. In any case, these are super slick, super sick, perfect point for most things, and make my stitches slide right off the needle and my knitting go about twice as fast as with the knockoffs - and that is what matters to me!

Great needles but one was bent when I got it.
Received one needle bent. Hasn’t bothered me while knitting though.

They’re light as a feather
These Addi Turbo’s are nice and they are light. I like knitting with them because the cord is superb. However, they aren’t as sharp as my Chiagoo’s which is what I was hoping for.

Ottimi. N.b.
All'occorrenza ne ordinerò sicuramente anche in altre misure.Considerate che il confronto è fatto tra due marchi TOP ma ognuno poi trova il suo preferito.Una felice scoperta.
