Pleased with the purchase.
I've tried many pill crushers and grinders in an attempt to get the pills crushed down well enough to hide in my dogs' treats. This handy little gadget really does a great job of turning the pills into very fine powder. It would be nice if they would label the ends....one for where you put the pills in and the other end for where the powder can be retrieved. All in all, I'm really glad I found this crusher/grinder.

Ok, Doesn't completely grind the pills up
Got this to grind meds for my dogs. there are always chunks that the grinder doesn't chew up and they get left in the grinder. You have to open it up after every pill and dump out the bits. It works ok but a bit annoying. God construction and easy to open to access the grinder for cleaning.

Comfortable. Sturdy. WORKS. Stylish design.
Like:...comfortable to hold... Performs as advertised... Easy to clean and will not hold odors from the average medicine.... sturdy enough to leave on the countertop and survive a drop to the linoleum floor.... Has a compartment for a few extra pills in case you just want to travel with the grinder and not carry the whole bottle of medicine.... the powder collects in the removable bottom and is easy to take out what you need.Dislike:... Unless you want to keep cleaning it obsessively you can only use the grinder for one type of tablet, and then wash it thoroughly , if you're going to crush some other medicine or supplement.Longer review:(I never thought of that but it is a good idea to use one grinder per kind of pill you need to crush if you're going to be using those on a regular basis.)I suppose it doesn't matter if you're grinding up a lot of vitamins or similarly disgusting medications that need to be taken together. By the same person. So it's not really a problem with the grinder, it's a problem with this lazy human who is trying to save a few dollars, by not getting several grinders at once.I have had cheap pill splitters and crushers and they are a pain in the rear end. They are frustrating to use hard on your hands , tend to crack easily , and not do the job efficiently. Some of them are almost impossible to clean without a fire hose and a toothbrush.Yes this is expensive for what you may say is 'just a pill crusher.'How much are your bruised knuckles, sore hands and frustration worth ?How about when you have to repulverize the broken pill between a couple of kitchen spoons because the grinder can't do a fine enough job?And maybe bits of pill go shooting across the kitchen never to be seen again. If you've been there and done that and tired of it , don't be a Scrooge- get yourself a well-made pill crusher.Yes, this is a well-made pill crusher.Do yourself a favor and invest in yourself, with a good tool for the long run.If like me you have a pet who needs regular medications and hates pills, you will be very grateful for this part of your job to be easier : nearly instant powdered pill! You might even save money if you can disguise the powder in a treat or a bit of cream cheese .This would let you make your own homemade liquefied pill , adding the powder to some gravy or diluted honey maybe , as one veterinary technician suggested to me.(And you should *always* check with them before doing something that drastic to a pill for your pet. Some medicines will not forgive you and will not be performing the same way if added to a liquid.)

Works great
The only problem is if you drop it the back latch broke off had to glue it on three times so far. Don’t know if you can get a replacement bottom for it

Doesn’t crush entire pill
Must be aware to crush entire pill. Check the inside for full crush.

Game changer for med prep
I have a senior cat who requires medication twice daily given by oral syringe. For me, this means crushing lots of pills. I typically set a weeks worth of meds at a time, and when using my former cheap, plastic pill crusher my forearms & hands would ache by the time I was done (it also took foreverrrrrr). Some of her pills are coated and extra difficult to crush, and I was still left with a consistency similar to coffee grounds. So I went searching for another option... and was honestly disappointed by the lack of choices with decent ratings.I bought this with a hope & a prayer... and couldn’t be more impressed. It’s easy to use: drop the pills in the top, close the lid, & twist the bottom. Twisting is easy, there’s little to no resistance- even with several hard pills inside. You have to open the top window to see when they are done (otherwise you could be twisting forever- mine take about 10 seconds) and you end up with a consistently fine powder in the bottom compartment. The whole thing can be unscrewed for easy cleaning, it’s very sturdy, & looks like it will hold up well. I’ve been using it less than a month, so time will tell- but at $14 it’s worth it.This is a wonderful product, especially if you have lots of pills to crush or arthritis in your hands.

Lo mejor es que no usa pilas y no se conecta a la corriente eléctrica
Excelente para moler las pastillas y dárselas a los niños mezcladas con algún alimento
